If it were possible, would you like to not just accidentally stumble upon the blessing of God, but actually walk constantly in the blessing of God?
There is a way to constantly walk in the blessing of God!

1.Only go where Jesus goes.

Exodus 33:15–16 NKJV
15 Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. 16 For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So we shall be separate, Your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.”
Don’t go wherever Jesus is not going and don’t do whatever Jesus is not doing!
-If Jesus is not at home, but He IS at church - don’t stay home...come to church!

2. Let Jesus Direct Your Steps

Proverbs 3:5–6 NKJV
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
We have to trust in order to be led & directed.
Trust makes us bold enough to go wherever Jesus IS going - even if it doesn’t look good.
The safest place on the planet is right in the center of God’s will for your life!
Psalm 37:23 AMP
23 The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].

3. Sometimes God will restrain us from going places we want to go.

Acts 16:6–7 NKJV
6 Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. 7 After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them.
God won’t force us to not go there.
We have to yield to the “No” - this is Lordship.
Stop Signs don’t stop cars.
Yield signs don’t slow cars down to give the right of way.
The driver must choose to submit to the posted instructions.
Others can be drastically affected by our decisions about submitting.
In the Christian life, it is not better to do something & ask for forgiveness if you’re wrong than it is to ask permission:
1 Samuel 15:22 NKJV
22 So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams.
Let’s not religiously or intellectually give ourself a YES to what WE want to do when it’s not actually God’s will.
“God would want the people of Bithynia to hear this....etc.”
“God would want me to be happy & THIS would make me happy...”

This is why we want to do the will of God:

Hebrews 10:36 NKJV
36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
Doing our own will and way does not lead us to receiving the promise.
Proverbs 14:12 NKJV
12 There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.

Simple Principles to Walking in the Blessing:

If God instructed you to do something, don’t stop doing it until He says so.

Don’t be weary in well doing (Galatians 6:9)
Be faithful and wise
Matthew 24:45–47 NKJV
45 “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. 47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.

God will move you by the leading of the Holy Spirit with peace & joy

Isaiah 55:12 NKJV
12 “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Romans 8:14 NKJV
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
Factors like frustration, anger, boredom, & economic gain, etc. should be unimportant compared to the leading of the Holy Spirit
We will be led forth with peace & joy
Being led by the Holy Spirit doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s gonna be nice and fun - it does mean that we have the supernatural grace to be preserved and victorious through it.
Luke 10:19 NKJV
19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
Ecclesiastes 11:4 NKJV
4 He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap.
This is why we don’t follow signs & circumstances.

3. Sometimes God will give you a choice

Deuteronomy 30:19 NKJV
19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;
2 Corinthians 9:7 NKJV
7 So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.
Make a bold, Godly choice that is full of faith!

4. Whatever you do, wherever God puts you, do it with everything you’ve got!

Ecclesiastes 9:10 NKJV
10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.
God honors an excellent spirit in situations we don’t want to be in.

Just One Thing:

The blessing of God is exclusively found where He is.
Go where He goes & do what He does and you will consistently walk in blessing!
