Lev. 6:10-12 And the priest shall put on his linen robe, and he must put his linen undergarments on his body, and he shall take away the fatty ashes of the burnt offering that the fire has consumed on the altar, and he shall place them beside the altar. 11 And he shall take off his garments and put on other garments, and he shall bring out the fatty ashes ⌊outside the camp⌋ to a ceremonially clean place,

12 but the fire on the altar must be kept burning on it; it must not be quenched. And the priest must burn wood ⌊every morning⌋ on it, and he shall arrange the burnt offering on it, and he shall turn into smoke the fat portions of the fellowship offerings on it. 13 A perpetual fire must be kept burning on the altar; it must not be quenched.
I Peter 2:9 “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s possession, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light,”
Revelation 1:5 “and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and released us from our sins by his blood”
Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, “Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments and the anointing oil and the bull of the sin offering and the two rams and the basket of the unleavened bread, and summon all of the community to the entrance to the tent of assembly.” So Moses did just as Yahweh commanded him, and the community gathered by the entrance to the tent of assembly.
Then Moses said to the community, “This is the word that Yahweh has commanded to be done.”
So Moses brought Aaron and his sons near, and he washed them with water. Then he put the tunic on him and tied the sash around him; then he clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him; then he tied the ephod’s waistband around him and fastened the ephod to him with it.
We as New Testament believers are the priest of YHWH. the Lord Jesus Christ is our “Great High Priest.” Aaron is a shadow of the Lord Jesus. Through Him, and by faith in His finished work on Calvary, we are made righteous. A short definition of the word “Righteous” is right-standing with YHWH. Righteous also means justified. There is no other way we can be found “Righteous”, “Justified”, and declared “Not Guilty other than through the sacrificial and substitutional work of the suffering, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Humankind’s standard, no matter how sincere, and passionate. Do not equate to the standard of the Most High, YHWH.
See how Moses consecrated Aaron and his sons unto YHWH. They, also had a part in this consecration. Again, we as believer are consecrated, set apart, separated unto the Lord as His holy vessels.
Let’s look at the word, “Consecrate.”
Satan & his kingdom will always work to get your Holy Ghost fire, that fire that burns in your spirit shut down, closed off, and put out. Let’s go to the book of 1 Chronicles 21:1-26. Who was trying tol destroy Israel? Who did he temp, provoke, urge, and motivate to sin? It was King David. Satan, regards ranks, and authority in God’s kingdom and his own. Either Satan came at David, or a Principality so urged, tempted King David to do this sin. Why? Because YHWH gave direct law against taking a census in this way. So Satan set David up to curse himself, the he would fall into judgement from the Lord. He knows God’s word, works to put you and I into positions that YHWH will bring judgement, and punishment upon us.
As judgement was about to be pronounced on David, before the prophet reached him, he was in repentance. True repentance is recognizing “ I’m thinking wrong. My way is wrong. My ways is against the Most High. There is a change of direction. There is admitting, confessing of the transgression, and truly regretting offending the Lord. We MUST HATE what YHWH hates. As David repented, he sought the mercy, and compassion of YHWH. He cried for mercy, while admitting, and repenting from his guilt. He didn’t try to justify himself, or blame someone or something else for his wrong. Sackcloth & ash are symbolic of repentance.
As judgement began, David called the elders to national repentance, and crying out for mercy. YHWH responded by a directive to build an altar demonstrating their repentance and dedication to the Most High. As they did this, in verse 26, YHWH answered by fire.
I Chronicles 21:26 26 Then David built an altar there to Yahweh, and he offered burnt offerings and peace offerings, and he called to Yahweh. And he answered him with fire from heaven upon the altar of burnt offering. 27 Then Yahweh commanded the angel, and he returned his sword to its sheath.

Galatians 5:19-24 19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are sexual immorality, impurity, licentiousness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, factions, 21 envy, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, things which I am telling you in advance, just as I said before, that the ones who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Now those ⌊who belong to Christ.

Ga 5:19–24. The Works of the Flesh grieve the Holy Spirit and are at odds with your born again spirit. The power, and fire from the YHWH Holy Spirit must be protected by you. Your altar is your tabernacle of the human spirit. As bread feeds the flesh, the fire of the Holy Spirit, and the Word feed the spirit. Holy Ghost Fire through Impartation also feeds the spirit.
Hebrews 13:10 “We have an altar from which those who serve in the tabernacle do not have the right to eat.”
Proverbs 20:27 “The lamp /candle of Yahweh is the spirit of humankind, he who searches every innermost part.”
Man’s spirit is the candle, lamp. The wick of the candle or lamp needs to be lit by the Holy Spirit’s fire. If not the spirit of man is dead, dormant, in darkness. There are many, even in the church in thick darkness. An unlit candle or lamp wick is useless is only in darkness. No matter how we dress it up. Make the lamp really fancy. The finest porcelain money can buy, and an unlit candle wick only results in darkness to thick darkness.
What do you value most in life?
To the screwd business person it may be the accumulation of appreciating assets. To the professional politician, it maybe his or her donors contributions to their campaign war chest. For the young couple after having their 1st child, it may be moving into their new house.
These are all admirable aspirations to be achieved. However, first, and foremost we must protect, guard, and increase that candle that burns within us; the candle of the Lord. This is our born again human spirit. The fire on the altar must never go out. I emphasize, we can NEVER LET IT GO out. The results of letting the candle of the Lord go out; letting the fire on the altar of our heart go out can be catastrophic, and horrifying. Without any dramatization in the least. Matthew 12:43-46 “Now whenever an unclean spirit has gone out of a person, it travels through waterless places searching for rest, and does not find it.* 44 Then it says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came out.’ And when it* arrives it finds the house* unoccupied and swept and put in order. 45 Then it goes and brings along with itself seven other spirits more evil than itself, and they go in and* live there. And the last state of that person becomes worse than the first.
W. Hall Harris III et al., eds., The Lexham English Bible (Bellingham, WA: Lexham Press, 2012), Mt 12:43–45.
Darkness resulting from an unlit candle, fire on the altar gone out, grows to thick darkness. All the while opening the door to invite not a demon. But demonic infestation. A nest of demons inside your human body.
