Introduction- Nehemiah 1
This morning we saw Ezra and the children of Israel experience contrition for their sin, then they confessed their sin to God, and ultimately they did what was necessary to correct their sin so that they could return to God.
Tonight we move ahead about 20 years time.
What Ezra and the people had done prepared them for what was going to take place in the book of Nehemiah as finally the city of Jerusalem would be restored.
It is important to note that real revival does not happen in the space of a few days of meeting but will take place over a much longer span of time.
The purpose of a revival meeting is to move our hearts in the proper direction that we may be ready for revival.
