OPENING

It is an honor and a privilege to be with you tonight.
I want to say thank you to Bro. Alan and Sis. Michelle for the invitation.
We love your Pastors and have nothing but respect for them.
It is a blessing to have my beautiful wife and daughters here with me tonight.
It is also a blessing to have some family and church members here with me tonight.
How many here tonight are glad to know that we serve a God who is like no other god?
We serve a God that is not dead, but is alive!
We serve a God that can make streams in the desert and that can make a way when there doesn’t seem to be a way.
We serve a God that is always on time and will never fail us.
We serve a God that can deliver us out of trouble and out of the snare of the fowler.
We serve a God that can deliver us out of the mouths of lions and fiery furnaces.
I want to try to deliver a message to you tonight titled, “There is No Other God Who Can Deliver Like This!”

SCRIPTURE

Daniel 3:19–30 NKJV
19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. 20 And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace. 21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their trousers, their turbans, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 22 Therefore, because the king’s command was urgent, and the furnace exceedingly hot, the flame of the fire killed those men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. 23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. 24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” 25 “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar went near the mouth of the burning fiery furnace and spoke, saying, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here.” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego came from the midst of the fire. 27 And the satraps, administrators, governors, and the king’s counselors gathered together, and they saw these men on whose bodies the fire had no power; the hair of their head was not singed nor were their garments affected, and the smell of fire was not on them. 28 Nebuchadnezzar spoke, saying, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, who sent His Angel and delivered His servants who trusted in Him, and they have frustrated the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they should not serve nor worship any god except their own God! 29 Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.” 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego in the province of Babylon.

MESSAGE

The Devil is Full of Fury (Daniel 3:19-23)
The Bible says that King Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Aded-Nego and that the expression of his face changed toward them.
The king was mad because these Three Hebrew Boys wouldn’t bow to him and the image he had setup.
They refused to compromise their beliefs.
They refused to give up their faith.
They refused to go along with the program just because everyone else was doing it.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego had some bold faith.
They made it clear to the king, we are not going to bow.
The king said if you don’t bow, then you’ll have to burn.
But I love what the Three Hebrew Boys told him earlier in Chapter 3.
“O King, we have no need to answer you in this matter.”
“The God whom we serve is able to deliver us out of the fiery furnace and out of your hand, O king.”
“But if not, know this, we are still not going to bow.”
They said, “we might burn, but we won’t bow.”
The Devil is full of fury
He is working overtime.
He is fighting harder against God’s people than ever before.
It seems like every time I turn around, the devil is throwing something else at me.
The level of spiritual warfare seems to be increasing.
He is unleashing his demonic hordes in these last days trying to steal, kill, and destroy.
If you take a stand for God, the devil is going to come after you.
These Three Hebrew Boys were willing to take a bold stand for God, and as a result, they found themselves facing a furnace of persecution.
If you take a stand for God, you are going to face your own furnace of persecution.
2 Timothy 3:12 NKJV
12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
But the devil is going to try to throw us into all types of furnaces:
Furnaces of sickness.
Furnaces of tribulations.
Furnaces of addictions.
Furnaces of family problems.
Furnaces of doubt.
Furnaces of fear.
Just stand in bold faith.
Paul instructed us to put on the whole armor of God and having done all to stand.
We need some bold faith in these last days to stand up against the wiles and the schemes of the devil.
You might be in a furnace of affliction right now; just stand!
You might be facing a situation that it feels like is threatening to take you out; just stand!
You might feel like you’re up against the ropes and the devil is throwing haymakers at you and you’re about to go down for the count; just stand!
Keep your faith pointed toward the One who broke the power of sin and death at the Cross of Calvary, who was raised from the dead for your justification, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father in heaven making intercession for you and praying for you right now that your faith fail not!
Have faith child of God. It may feel like the devil is turning up the heat seven times hotter, but hold on, help is on the way! There is no other God that can deliver like this!
You Have a Friend in the Fire (Daniel 3:24-27)
King Nebuchadnezzar had the Three Hebrew Boys thrown into the fiery furnace.
The Bible says they fell down into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
The furnace was so hot, that the men who threw them in died.
So the king decided to go take a look for himself to make sure that Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego had been destroyed.
But as the king looked into the fiery furnace, he saw something that he didn’t expect.
I’m sure he expected to see the Three Hebrew Boys being consumed by the fire, but instead he saw them unhurt and walking around in the midst of the fiery furnace.
But he didn’t see just three men in the fire, He saw four.
So he said, “Didn’t we throw just three men bound into the midst of the fire?”
His counsellors said, “that’s right.”
So the king said, “Then what in the world is going on, because I see four men loose and walking around in the midst of the fire and the fourth man looks like the Son of God.”
I came here to tell somebody tonight, you have a Friend in the fire.
You might feel like you’re in the furnace of affliction, but Jesus is the fourth man in the fire!
The king saw four men loose and walking around in the midst of the fire, but only three came out.
Jesus is still in the fire, and He’s walking in the flames, and He’ll be there to help you when you call upon His name!
You have a Friend in the fire
He will never leave you or forsake you.
He will stick closer to you than a brother.
He won’t leave you there.
He will bring you through the fire.
Somebody look at your neighbor and say, “Neighbor, if God brought you to it, He’s gonna bring you through it.”
The furnace of affliction that you are facing is not a dead end.
It might be an attack of the enemy.
It might be a trial of fire that God has ordained to test and strengthen your faith.
It might be a problem that you have brought on yourself.
Keep holding on, keep you faith in God, keep looking to Jesus the author and the finisher of your faith, because you are coming through the fire and you are coming out the other side!
The Three Hebrew Boys walked out of the furnace.
Their bonds were gone.
The fire had no power over them.
Their hair and their clothes were not burned.
And they didn’t even smell like smoke.
Come on somebody and give God a shout of praise right now.
He’s bringing you through the fire.
He’s delivering you out of the furnace.
And you’re coming out the other side set free.
Your bonds are being broken.
I hear the sound of chains falling.
The fire has no power over you to destroy you.
No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper.
And when Jesus gets done delivering you there won’t even be the slightest smell of defeat left on you.
You’re about to shed the spirit of heaviness and put on a garment of praise!
There is no other God that can deliver like this!
It’s not an Execution it’s a Promotion (Daniel 3:28-30)
Even an evil pagan king had to recognize the mighty power of God.
The king said, “I’ve never seen anything like this.”
You see, he was used to praying to dead gods.
But what he just witnessed was the miracle working power of the One True Living God.
The Great I Am.
The Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent God.
The One we call Wonderful, Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.
The King of kings and the Lord of lords.
The One who was, and who is, and who is to come, the Almighty!
Aren’t you glad you’re serving that God tonight?!
So the king completely flipped the script.
He said, I may not know this God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, but we are going to reverence Him.
If anybody says anything against their God ever again, I will destroy them.
He said, “because there is no other God that can deliver like this!”
And look what the king did in Verse 30.
The king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego.
God honored their faith.
And He showed up right on time.
They might have had to face the furnace and go through the fire, but Jesus walked with them through the fire.
And God worked through a pagan king to promote them.
You see God turned what was supposed to be an execution into a promotion.
You see, what you’re facing is not an execution, it’s a promotion.
You might be thinking that the furnace you’re facing right now is going to destroy you.
You might not see a way out.
You might have started losing hope.
Your faith might feel a little weak right now.
But let me encourage you.
You are not alone.
You have a Friend in the fire.
It is through the fire your weakness is going to be made strong.
You are going through the fire.
You are not staying there.
And when you come out on the other side, you are going to come out with your faith strengthened and with the anointing on your life increased.
Get ready for a promotion!
There is no other God that can deliver like this!

CLOSING

What are you facing tonight?
Are you facing a furnace of affliction?
Is your faith weak?
Do you feel alone in your struggle?
Are you wanting to take a step-up for God, but it feels like the devil is trying to hold you down?
Are you struggling with addictions, with those weights and sins that so easily beset you?
Are you facing a sickness or infirmity in your body and you need healing?
There is no other God who can deliver like this!
The devil might be full of fury and it may feel like he’s throwing everything he has at you; but remember, just stand firm in your faith no matter what comes your way!
You might have to go through the furnace of affliction, but remember, you have a Friend in the fire!
The devil might be trying to convince you that he has won and that you are done, but remember, this is not an execution, it’s a promotion.
