one of the hardest things for people to realize, is that their parents are just people. they are not perfect.
We often want to hold them to this standard of perfection because they discipled us and lectured us and lectured is and lectured us.
sometimes we felt stupid, maybe they used a tone or where irritated, maybe they where irritated, its much more likely that what you heard was fear.
they made huge mistakes coming up and and they are concerned that you don’t repeat there mistakes. often times parents don’t share there struggles but in truth that is what they are responding to.
Lastly they often don’t even realize what they did that hurt you.
this is why forgiveness is so important. it is not only helpful in being obedient to the heavenly Father.
Forgiveness is healing for us, by the way so is honoring
