IF we ask moms to tell us about their family… they often touch their heart
If I ask you to point to yourself… you point to your heart
The heart is what we give… not organs or limbs

Heart Power

The heart is what feeds ever relationship.
The heart… not the muscle… but the core of who we are.
We know the heart is who we are...

God’s not the only one after your heart.

1 Peter 5:8 NIV
8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
James 4:7–8 NIV
7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
2 Timothy 2:26 NIV
26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will.
Ephesians 4:27 NIV
27 and do not give the devil a foothold.
Ephesians 6:11–12 NIV
11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Acts 10:37–38 NIV
37 You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached— 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.

How does your enemy do it?

Luke 8:21-39
Four lies we are tempted to believe:
I’m on my own.
I can’t trust anybody, even God.
Boundaries keep me from being happy.
In the end, nothing matters.

The Good News
