(Be the church where there is none)

Problem people think church is in a building
Be idea: be the church where there is none
Passage: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
Story: Matheus Paims story from the Marines.
If we keep ministry in these four walls…… ministry becomes miniscule.
We live 3 ways
Cultures way - secular
Churches way - religious
Kingdoms way - righteous
Jesus is the book of Matthew was talking about the kingdom of heaven and what it truly is. Matthew 9:35-38
Prescription?
Teaching- development
Matthew 9:35-38
Rebuking/restoration - deliverance/healing
how you talk tells me how you walk it shows me.
Mark 16:17-18
Correcting - direction
In the wild there are no boundaries or restrictions, just survival of the fittest.
Training - disciple
When ministry is kept in a building it becomes minuscule.
Many of us say I’ll fully follow God when I’m older I just want to live my best life now. “Living you best life” will lead to bad stewardship of your youth.
“ What you do when you young determines what you get when your old”
Training or dicipline doesn’t start when you are old it should start when you are young
“If you put these things before the brothers, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, being trained in the words of the faith and of the good doctrine that you have followed. Have nothing to do with irreverent, silly myths. Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance. For to this end we toil and strive, because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. Command and teach these things. Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to exhortation, to teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you. Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress. Keep a close watch on yourself and on the teaching. Persist in this, for by so doing you will save both yourself and your hearers.”
‭‭1 Timothy‬ ‭4:6-16‬ ‭ESV‬‬
We need people to teach the wild that this following Christ is the life.
God wants to train you but he wants to train all of you. Be vulnerable with Him. Tell Him your struggles, tell Him your traumas, tell Him your pain. If you do not want Him to hold back on you don’t hold back on Him.
If you make much of Jesus, Jesus will make much of you.
