I understand why we gave to the Kitchen, Sound System, Asphalt… They have a great deal of immediate gratification!

I celebrate that!!!

Let me cast some more vision for THE CMC AND SPECIFICALLY THE ATHLETIC EQUIPMENT… THOUGH I HOPE YOU WILL SEE, THIS IS MORE THAN A FUNDRAISING MESSAGE!!!

Our vision, our dream, our hope, is that everyone in our region would experience the saving grace of Jesus. Every child, mother, father, aunt, uncle, cousin, grand parent, friend, neighbor; that they all would experience the saving grace of God!

THE CMC AND SPORTS ARE A MISSIONARY BRIDGE TO THEM!

Good or bad, right or wrong- The average family will spend thousands of hours and dollars involving their kids in sports…

As any parent or grandparent involved in their kids life know, that means not only hours for the kids, but hours for the parents and grand parents who Uber these kids around…

Why? Why do we do this?

Because sports teach life lessons.

Because our parents could send us outside to play in relative safety for hours… And parents today can’t.

So our culture has curated environments of relative safety. Kids sports leagues and activities of every kind.

How do we bridge this gap between kids, parents, sports, time, and ultimate spiritual reality?

We build missionary bridges with materials they are seeking.

WE BUILD A BRIDGE TO CHRIST THROUGH SPORTS.

That’s why we need to martial we have specified:

THAT’S WHY WE HAVE ALSO BEEN FORMING AND PARTNERSHIP FOR SEVERAL YEARS WITH FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES.

AFTER YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT WE ARE READY TO LAUNCH FCA SPORT!

This Summer That is Partnership with FCA to Build A BRIDGE to our community through a POWER SPORTS CAMP!

WE WILL ALSO BE HOSTING AN FCA MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL CAMP!

THATS WHY IN FALL WE WILL RUN A K-5th Basketball league.

In 2023 we will host a K-5th Flag football league.

FCA is a Partnership that helps us be on mission. Reaching the next generation for Christ.

It builds a bridge to our (Get’s us on) school campusesGives us an avenue to be missionaries, to build a bridge to our community- (Un Churched, De-Churched)Gives us an avenue disciple kids and youth ministry using cultural relevant bridges….

Every-Thing In Christ

Ephesians 2:4–10 ESV

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Before this BUT GOD experience the Bible states that we are in a perpetual cycle of death. That is separated from real life.

Ephesians 2:1–3 ESV

And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.

Ephesians 2:1 ESV

And you were dead in the trespasses and sins

Inside and outside, in our thoughts, desires, and behaviors we are enslaved, condemned, and spiritually dead!

BUT GOD!

Ephesians 2:5–6 ESV

even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

You are alive in Christ.

You were dead, but in Christ Jesus, you are New Life.

You walked by death: Trespasses and Sin.

BUT GOD! How does that work?

Everything in Christ means I am saved.

hitch your wagon with Jesus:

SAVED: When Jesus dies you are pulled with him…death to the way I was walking.

Everything in Christ means I am a New Creation.

MADE ALIVE When Jesus is resurrected I am resurrected… (v10)I am a new creation. Grace, Mercy, When Jesus is seated in victory, I am seated in victory.

Everything in Christ means I am a Victorious.

VICTORIOUS OVER SIN!

Victory over the way I walked.Victory over the way I talked. Victory over the way I…I AM A NEW CREATION!Everything in Christ

NOW WHAT?

Ephesians 2:10 ESV

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Everything in Christ means I am created for good works.

EVERYTHING IN CHRIST MEANS, I WAS SAVED, MADE A NEW CREATION, AND AM VICTORIOUS; TO PARTNER WITH CHRIST TO SAVE, MAKE NEW, AND DELIVER VICTORY TO EVERYONE.
