Seeing The Bigger Picture

Genesis 42:36 KJV (WS)

And Jacob their father said unto them, Me have ye bereaved of my children: Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and ye will take Benjamin away: all these things are against me.

Jacob and his sons lives parallels the lives of so many believers today.

God has a bigger picture for your life, but it may not be a cake walk through the park.

You are in this service tonight for a purpose greater than what you are able to see, if you can only trust God in all the trails and pitfalls of the enemy.

I. Jacob Is Living Under A Banner Of A Liar Concerning His Sons.

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

II. They Did Not Believe The Words Joseph Spake Concerning His Dreams.

Isaiah 55:11 KJV (WS)

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

What words did God give Joseph in a dream?

What words did God give the church?

a. I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

b. Who soever call upon the name of Jesus shall be saved.

c. The Holy Ghost is given to them that ask Him.

III. God Groaned Joseph For His Ultimate Plan

Jeremiah 33:3 KJV (WS)

Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

I guarantee Joseph did not know about:

a. Been sold into slavery by those who suppose to love him.

b. Being lied on and thrown into prison.

c. Ruling as second in command on Pharaohs throne.
