The newness of the gospel

The teaching of Jesus Christ was acclaimed as something new

Mark 1:27 NIV
The people were all so amazed that they asked each other, “What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to impure spirits and they obey him.”

The kingdom of God is like new cloth

Luke 5:36 NIV
He told them this parable: “No one tears a piece out of a new garment to patch an old one. Otherwise, they will have torn the new garment, and the patch from the new will not match the old.

The kingdom of God is like new wine
