Mark 8:22–26 NKJV
22 Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him. 23 So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. 24 And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.” 25 Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. 26 Then He sent him away to his house, saying, “Neither go into the town, nor tell anyone in the town.”
Introduction:
Last time I was with you we talked about the fact that God is not done with this Church and I believe that?
this week I want to talk to you about how God is going to do that.

1. All Ministry is about people ministering to people under the Grace of God.

Mark 8:22 NKJV
22 Then He came to Bethsaida; and they brought a blind man to Him, and begged Him to touch him.
lets look at this verse for a moment:
the sixth word in this verse is they. They is the crowed, a crowd is a group of people. people brought the blind man to Jesus.
the bind man is a person.
those people brought the person to Jesus.
are you a person? Do you know people who need something from Jesus?
how are we going to bring people to Jesus when there is heartache and hurt in us without contaminating the people that we are trying to minister too?
we have to go to the healer ourselves !

2. We need to be healed and realize that healing is often a process.

if we are honest this morning we would have to say that we are wounded by some of the things that have happened in the church. We might even be angry about some of the things that where done that we feel landed us where we are today.
notice the first thing that Jesus did was take the blind man by the hand and lead him out of town.
Mark 8:23 NKJV
23 So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.
at this point I am going to take some liberties with the scriptures.
we have to get away from these hurts and hang ups.
the best way I know to do that is to forgive as we have been forgiven.
many people don’t own the pains that drive them, but bitterness and fear
