Elders in your Life.

1. We all Have Purpose.

Proverbs 22:6 NKJV

6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV

5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

God did not create you to simply consume and exchange oxygen for carbon dioxide.

He created you for good works.

Matthew 5:16 NKJV

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

The Good works we where created for are to shine forth the Glory of God. you where created to shine uniquely.

2. Pastors are given to you as a gift for your equipping.

Jeremiah 3:15 NKJV

15 And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Ephesians 4:11–12 NKJV

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

God gives you pastors as a gift to you.

He gives them responsibility for you.

Hebrews 13:17 NKJV

17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you.

1 Corinthians 4:15 NKJV

15 For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

we serve the Lord and we love you.

we don’t love you with natural love we you in the Lord.

3. Shepherd’s are in your life to insure your victory.

1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV
