Value of education
Value of education
Romans 12:1–2 (KJV 1900)
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
If you can read this thank a teacher.
“God has carved only one path to the human heart, and it runs through the mind.”
There are areas in the life of our church I believe God compels or leads me to give attention. We do this through programs, events, and discussions. In these meetings I can just come out and say it as clearly as possible.
We will do well to teach our kids and adults to value education. There may be times that you think as a church we are too heavy on Bible teaching or programs.
Very much aware of my inability to express my thoughts in writing due having not applied myself as I should as a middle school student.
Causes me to consider what are other areas of my life I have limited myself by not applying myself as I should have as a student.
Kids teachers - talk to your kids about their education. Encourage them to be good students.
LifeGroup teachers - encourage those in your class that if they still have breath they can learn new skills and serve in new ways
To be able to present our bodies (who we are entirely) we must be able to renew our minds.
We need to help train our kids, ourselves, and those around us to have minds that pursue and love truth.
