The Seven Heads of the Antichrist

Ephesians 4:11–16 NKJV

11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Revelation 17:1–6 NKJV

1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, 2 with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” 3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. 5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH 6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

she’s called The Great Harlot, so she’s a harlot.

She sits on “many waters”

*the* kings of the earth have “committed fornication” with her, symbolizing joining with her in unholy, sinful ways.

*the* inhabitants of the earth are made drunk on her wine of fornication, symbolizing her evil, sinful influence over the whole earth.

she’s sitting on a beast with seven heads and 10 horns.

she’s dressed in purple, scarlet, gold, precious stones, and pearls, with a golden cup in her hand.

a name is written on her forehead MYSTERY Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and also the mother of *the* abominations of the earth.

she’s drunk with the blood of the saints and martyrs, symbolizing she is the source of their persecution.

She represents: the kingdoms, systems, religions, and people of this world. She’s the embodiment of worldliness and love of the world. She’s everyone not of the woman from Chapter 12.

Revelation 17:9 NKJV

9 “Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits.

she *also* sits on seven mountains.

What do we know about these mountains?

The Great Harlot sitting on them symbolizes they are providing support to her.

The fact they are mountains symbolizes they lift her up, giving the Great Harlot power and exaltation. What kinds of things would lift up the embodiment of worldliness?

Mountains also are obstacles. Not merely obstacles, but seemingly insurmountable obstacles. Strongholds.

They are the heads of the beast, who is the antichrist! They are the heads of the antichrist! They represent the leading of his spirit! The driving force behind his efforts!

They have supported her efforts to make deals with the kings of the earth, to the degree she rules over them! (verse 18)

They have supported her efforts to control all commerce!

When Jesus said, “You can say to this mountain, be removed and cast into the sea,” He was using a mountain as the utmost example of faith because mountains represent the utmost example of something being impossible for us.

We can rule out lesser sins, that don’t have that much influence or control, like lying for example.

Lust, Covetousness (greed), Envy/Division, Fear, Wrath (outrage), Pride, Gluttony (including addiction)

These are root temptations that give rise to many different actions. They cause us to act differently than we would. They give those in power to a doorway into our lives.

The seven deadly sins in catholicism:

Pride, greed, lust, envy, gluttony, wrath, sloth

When we see ANY of these things at play, we are looking at the spirit of the anitchrist!

Also, look at the goal of the church:

unified, mature, full of the knowledge of God, grounded in our faith, Christlike, active in church

When we see things in our culture possessing these qualities, we are looking at the spirit of the antichrist at work!

The antichrist works to keep us confused about God, full of shame to keep us from church, divided, walking according to the flesh.

If we don’t talk about things in our culture in church, then everyone’s gonna hear about it from the world! Should we get our education on the things of happening in our culture from the world? From the spirit of the anitchrist?

Abortion:

First and foremost: following the Bible completely eliminates unwanted pregnancies.

Child sacrifice

“In the name of.” Whatever you put as the reason its okay to kill the child is what you’re sacrificing to. “Convenience.” “Timing.” “Education.” “Career.” “Casual sex.”

You could just wait to have sex.

Child sacrifice has been rampant and common throughout all of human history, but now it has stopped? Why? The internet? The internet has INCREASED depravity, not DECREASED it!

Keeps people focused on the world and full of shame.

The idea of abortion being legal encourages casual sex and hookup culture. A lot of women, though, think they could abort then realize they don’t want to and guess what? They’re stick with a deadbeats baby.

Look at this article. All these girls ADMIT abortion is the reason theyre okay with hookup culture! They see it as their birth control method or safety net. If all other measures fail, i can always abort.

An attack on families and father hood.

Our heavenly father wants us to relate to him as a father, but since

The Bible says children are a gift and we should live pure and get married.

The pressure from society is increasingly making the church compromise on what is almost certainly the most demonic human activity.
