THE COURTS OF HEAVEN
Heb 1:3
(3) Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Heb 1:3
(3) Yena eo e leng lehlasedi la kganya ya wona, le setshwantsho sa boleng ba wona, ya kakatlelang dintho tsohle ka lentswe la matla a hae, eitse hobane a etse hlatsuo ya dibe tsa rona, o ile ho dula ka letsohong le letona la Boholo bo hodimo;
Heb 1:3
(3) He is the sole expression of the glory of God [the Light-being, the [3] out-raying or radiance of the divine], and He is the perfect imprint and very image of [God's] nature, upholding and maintaining and guiding and propelling the universe by His mighty word of power. When He had by offering Himself accomplished our cleansing of sins and riddance of guilt, He sat down at the right hand of the divine Majesty on high,
KINGDOM
The Kingdom of Heaven and God
There is no difference between the two word because they speak on thing
Heb 1:3-14
The Kingdom is ruled by a King who is also Lord
Mat 28:18
(18) And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Mat 28:18
(18) Yaba Jesu o atamela, a bua le bona, a re: Ke neilwe borena bohle lehodimong le lefatsheng.
Mat 28:18
(18) And so, after approaching, Jesus spoke to them, by saying, "All authority (or: Every right) is (or: was) given to Me within heaven and upon the earth!
WHAT IS A KINGDOM
· Realm of His Dominion
· A state or nation with a form of government in which a king or queen serves as supreme ruler.
· The sovereign rule of a king over territory (domain), impacting it with his will, purpose, and intent
Mat 6:33
(33) But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
“The word righteousness is actually from the discipline of law, not religion, and implies right positioning. To be righteous means to be in alignment with authority, to be in right standing with authority, to have correct fellowship with authority, to be in right relationship with authority, to be in legal or lawful alignment, and to be in correct standing with the law or regulations (principles) of and to fulfill the requirements of authority.
In essence, righteousness describes the maintenance of the rightly aligned relationship with a governing authority so as to qualify for the right to receive governmental privileges…”
The Kingdom of God means God’s will executed, Gods’ jurisdiction,
Heaven’s influence, God’s administration, and God’s impact and influence.
Dr Myles Munroe defines kingdom in the following way
A kingdom is…
The governing influence of a king over his territory, impacting it with his personal will, purpose, and intent, producing a culture, values, morals, and lifestyle that reflect the king’s desires and nature for his citizens.
The kingdom does not only speak of the realm of a king, but it speaks of the system of his governance. The way in which he executes his rule and power over his subjects. This includes jurisdiction over his realm how it is imposed (The Law).
THE HIERACHIE IN THE KINGDOM
Mat 19:28
(28) Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, in the new age [the Messianic rebirth of the world], when the Son of Man shall sit down on the throne of His glory, you who have [become My disciples, sided with My party and] followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones and judge the twelve tribes of Israel.
THE REALMS OF AUTHORITY AND RULE IN THE KINGDOM
Col 1:16
(16) For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.
Col 1:16
(16) because within Him was created (is founded and settled; is built and planted; is brought into being, produced and established) The Whole (all things) -- the things within the heavens, and the things upon the earth (land); the visible things, and the unseen (unable to be seen; invisible) things: whether thrones or lordships (ownership systems) or governments (rulers; leadership systems; sovereignties) or authorities -- The Whole (all things) has been created and continues founded and framed through means of Him, and [proceeds, or was placed] into Him (or: He is the agent and goal of all creation).
· (Thronos) : THRONES – Devine powers and kings of the heavenly realms
· (Kuiotes) : DOMINIONS – Powers and Masters (Lordship)
· (Arche) : PRINCIPALTIES / RULERS – Magistrates power and rule over the kingdom
· (Exousia) : AUTHORITIES - power of choice, liberty of doing as one pleases
Thrones – twenty four elders
LORDSHIP OF JESUS
Supremacy of Jesus as Lord
To see Jesus is to see God! The invisible God has become visible! Deity has become a man
Jesus is sovereign Lord of the Kingdom
Col 1:15-20
(15) He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. (16) For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things were created through him and for him. (17) And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (18) And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. (19) For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, (20) and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.
LORD
A term properly denoting one who has dominion. Applied to God, the supreme governor and disposer of all things.
Rom 10:12
(12) For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him.
Eph 1:20-22
(20) which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
(21) far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
(22) And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
We need to recognize the Lordship of Jesus over lives in order for us to understand our position in God's kingdom.
Jesus is sovereign Lord over all of God's creation, he stands unopposed
Jesus governs his creation by the Word of His power
Heb 1:3
(3) Who, being a beam (radiance; effulgence; outshining) from the Glory, and an exact impress (as from a stamp or die) of His substructure (the substance standing under as a foundation) and continuously bearing (carrying) the whole (all things; everything; or, as a masc.: all men) by the thing which is spoken belonging to His power (the saying pertaining to His ability; in the spoken word of His power), making a cleansing (purification) of failures (of the misses of the target; pertaining to the sins), seated Himself within the right part of greatness resident within high places.
Our failure to address our situation by speaking the same things in consent with Jesus - CONFESSION
Jesus heads up all of God kingdom
All of Creation operates by the judgements and rule set by the Lord Jesus Christ
OUR DILEMA
HEIR APPARENTS
Gal 4:1 Now I continue saying, for (upon [the length of]) as much time as the heir (the apparent possessor of the distributed allotment) is progressing from being an infant to a minor (one having either no ability, or no right, to speak) he continues essentially differing nothing from a slave, [though] continuously being owner (lord and master) of everything (of all),
God has made us to inherit the same inheritance as our Lord Jesus Christ whatever he is and possess that we also we possess.
As Long as we do no seek to grow in knowledge of the kingdom we will be victims and slaves to things we should have dominion over.
"Our dominion includes a spiritual dominion where we can take authority over the devil in the heavenly realm. We can take authority over everything that the devil tempts us with. You need to take authority over the devil in the heavenly places..."
We have a God given right to call forth heaven to come down.
OUR POSITION AND PURPOSE
“Man’s assignment was to establish the influence and culture of heaven on earth by representing the nature, values, and morality of God in the earth. In this way, God’s heavenly rule would manifest itself on earth through His extended image in mankind. This was the first Kingdom: Yahweh, the King, extending His heavenly Kingdom to earth through His offspring, man…”
Col 2:10
(10) And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead--Father, Son and Holy Spirit--and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].
2Co 2:14
(14) Now grace [is] in and by God – in (by) the One constantly causing us to triumph (or: progressively leading us in a triumphal procession) at all times, within and in union with the Christ (the Anointed One; = the Messiah), and progressively (habitually) setting in clear light (manifestingğj ig the fragrance (aroma; odor) of His intimate knowledge (or: of the experience of intimacy which has its source in knowing Him; or: the knowledge which is Him) through us in every place,
The environment in which you live is such that nothing can harm or destroy you. That environment is Christ.
"Our authority releases God’s Power. When we are abiding in God, we are able to tap into commanding power. God wants to move in your life. Especially if we have received prophecies about something, we are able to command the power of God. Sometimes, God is waiting for us to come in agreement with Him and when we command his hands, it is coming in agreement with him..."
Psa 91:2-8
(2) I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! (3) For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. (4) [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. (5) You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, (6) Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. (7) A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. (8) Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.
"Trust the Lord and His Word. You’re divinely protected from the wickedness and devilry in today’s world: whether at night, or in the day, the Lord protects and takes care of you. You’re in safety. Your faith response, therefore, should be, “Christ is in me, with me, and for me; therefore, I’m forever victorious!”
BEING SPIRITUAL MINDED
1Co 2:15 People who are guided by the Spirit can make all kinds of judgments, but they cannot be judged by others.
1Co 2:15 Empa motho wa moya o ahlola tsohle, mme ha a ahlolwe ke motho.
1Co 2:15 Yet the spiritual one (one dominated by and focused on spirit or the realm of the Spirit, and characterized by the qualities of spirit: the wind which continuously moves across the land) is, on the one hand, continuously sifting and re-evaluating (habitually separating and deciding above on; progressively holding things up for examination of) all things, yet, on the other hand, he is being sifted and held up for examination or decision by no one.
