Here we can see the heart of God for his people. He do strengthen Ezekiel and sent him to his People even when the people were impudent and hard Hearted. The Lord talks to Ezekiel several times about this and He himself is going with Him.
Ezekiel 3:18–21 (NKJV)
When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
“Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.”
God takes this very seriously that if he doesnt warn people then he too is guilty and is accountable for that Person’s Blood. Thats a very serious statement.
What about all who know that Christ is life and He is the only way. Is it fair that we don’t tell others about this. What makes us not to tell others . What stops us. ? Do we think of ourselves more than God. Or do we not believe in him. I once heard a Person in Youtube claiming
“ a Christian who doesnot share the Gospel to people who don’t know Christ is not at a all a Christain. “
This also reminds me about what Paul said:
Acts 20:26–27 (NKJV)
Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God.
Christ is the Life giving Spirit who was freely given to us. Let us also freely give what we got freely. :)
