Dear Sweet Lord, We ask you today to lift our spirits with Your heavenly presence. Help us to remember our good times and memories instead of dwelling on our sadness. Keep our hearts strong and our wills steady. Place your hand on us so that we can make it through this upsetting season of our lives. W need the peace that passeth all understanding, and we ask you to fill us with your continuous strength. In Your name, we pray. Amen.

Psalm 23 NASB95

A Psalm of David. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want - the reason we do not want is not because of our own resources or ability, it is because He makes us not want, he provides for us - we must go to Him and lean on him

Ps. 23:2 “He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.” rest and refreshing come from the Lord - God is working

Ps. 23:3 “He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.” I’m going to do what is right - I will not fear, I will not worry because God is there.

1 Pet. 5:7 “casting all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.”

Ps. 23:5 “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.” He prepared a place John 14 Jesus is at God’s side and he is on my side

Ps. 23:6 “Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” I will not waver I am going to be with the Lord forever.

Precious Lord, thank You for your perfect healing I know You can give us. Please flood us in a never-ending rainstorm of Your heavenly peace. Give us all the love and support we can get. Lead us. Keep us from becoming wrapped up in fear and sadness. Please keep us on our feet, catch us when we fall. You have our trust, and we believe Your promises. In Jesus’s name, we pray. Amen.
