What is ‘Wealth’

Wealth in the Bible is associated with physical strength and material abundance. In both the OT and the NT, an individual or group does not have wealth without ample physical prowess or financial prosperity.

Many words and phrases in the Bible can be translated as “wealth.” Several Hebrew words for wealth primarily mean “strength” and express wealth as a form of economic power
