PRAISE IS FROM THE UPRIGHT
Psalm 34:1-4 “ 1 I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad. 3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. 4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.”
Psalm 34:8 “8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!”
Introduction
Introduction
It feels good being in God’s house and worshiping with like-minded believers.
All of us have been through a lot in the past two years. I haven’t seen most of you within that time. It is so good to see all of you this evening that the Lord has blessed us with!
Oh magnify the Lord with me and let us exalt His name together.
**Testimony of Sheree’s recovery…**
I Will Bless The Lord At All Times
I Will Bless The Lord At All Times
The psalmist is telling us that he will bless the Lord at all times.
Through the tough times, through the storms we should always bless the Lord. And His praise should always be in our continually, always be in our mouth.
Hebrews 13:15 say Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, ***the fruit of our lips***, giving thanks to His name.
How can we bless a God who already has everything?
By constantly telling Him how much we love Him, how much we appreciate Him, how bad off we would be if it weren't for Him.
If it had not been for the Lord who was on our side we would've been swallowed up and consumed.
My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
My soul shall make its boast in the LORD; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
I've never been one who would be puffed up and brag on the little I have accomplished...
You see Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. (Proverbs 16:18) In the list of things that the Lord hates is a proud look...
When people who have tried the Lord for themselves hear someone making a boast in the Lord, they become glad.
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony
Oh come on and magnify the Lord with me! And let us exalt His name together.
Oh Taste And See That The Lord Is Good
Oh Taste And See That The Lord Is Good
Have you ever been eating something that was so good that you had to tell somebody?
The psalmist declared the words of our Lord are sweeter than honey in his mouth
You can't keep it to yourself. Don't keep it t yourself. TELL SOMEBODY!!!
