I. Words About Sexual Sins. v.19

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;

Adultery - sex outside the marriage

fornication - sex before marriage

uncleanness - moral impurity

lasciviousness - irregular indulgence of animal desires

II. Words About Spiritual Sins. v.20

Idolatry - worshipping anything but God

witchcraft - practicing forbidden arts

hatred - hat that stems from envy or jealousy

variance - difference that produces dispute or controversy

emulations - rivalry accompanied with a desire of depressing another

wrath - the effects of anger

strife - fighting against truth

seditions - uprising, commotion of the people

heresies - taking sides with error against truth

III. Words About Social Sins. v.21

Envyings - feeling uneasiness at the superior condition and happiness of another

murders - the act of unlawfully killing a human being with premeditated malice

drunkenness - intoxication

revellings - loud and rude stemming from bad behavior, drunkeness, or dope

and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
