And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

It is doubtless not profitable for me to boast. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord: I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago—whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows—how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Transformed body not limited or subject to the laws of nature.

How to go to heaven.

The Promise that Jesus makes to those who believe in Him.

Religion by self-effort:

Please God by our own good deeds.

Practice, diligent service, discipline, and obedience, in hope of reward.

Good honest effort thru self determination.

Self-motivation; self-control

The Problem with these:

chronic guilt, apathy, depression, failure, constant desire for approval.

Salvation by Faith:

Trust in Christ and then live to please God.

Confess, submit, and commit, surrender to Christ’s Holy Spirit. Be led by His spirit.

Have joy, thankfulness, love, guidance, service, forgiveness.

Salvation by faith sounds too easy for many people. People want to think that they must do something to save themselves. Their religion becomes self-effort and results in eternal death because Faith is believing in Jesus to save us, and not our good deeds.
