Welcome new day. I love you guys. And you know what? I've been absent because the mornings have been. And I'll sleep in a little too much and then also, I'll try to get myself going and I'm texting too fast. It will at like 6 in the afternoon, but I love you guys and I love seeing your faces. I love seeing the kids. The kids are up, dressed the moms. The dads are bringing them, and we are supplying new day with some white energy believing in God and believing in this mission that Jesus said before us and it's really good stuff and this gets us going, you know, and this is this is our church not not like a clean, the pain like we have a certain color of flag, you know, but this is a new day community and I think that you know, this is this is ours and so very, very nice to meet you guys and welcome to each and everyone of you and happy birthday.

And happy anniversary or whoever else has something that needs to tell it right, you know, maybe just want to maybe someone just wants to celebrate that. Somebody you wake up you starting to have breath in your lungs and you was trying to look around to notice that you have a life and that's amazing. Right? And there's some things I want to touch on today. I'm not going to bore you so much and there's some things with you that tried to work on and there's some things that we could pay attention to or we can just Let Jesus do that spiritual spiritual surgery that he's doing to you when you're here, you know, sometimes you're here. You don't know. I don't know. We don't know exactly what we're trying to do to fix whatever you want to try to fix. That's what's so good about God. That's so good about the, our creator is that he is here, helping we don't have to do this. Our self, you know, there are things that our father loves to hear us. Start to ask just like, if your father, your mother and your kid comes and asks you that's one of my greatest correlations with people because we're a lot of parents here is to notice that you don't like, it is asking some really good things that I am really digging. You know, I hate dad. Can you show me how to make that bed? Do. I know how you make yours? And it's nice, huh? What did you want today? I didn't see no. What where you want to go now? Around new starts asking the same thing over and over. We start to realize what that kid, really actually does want this. I'm going to start show him. I'm going to start showing him what it's what it takes to sustain that sort of blessing and keep up. He did the kind of busting. I'm trying to give it to you, right? That's just another awesome thing about God, you know, and we we my first book with this church was The Book of Mark. I had a great great time with everyone here when we were at The Book of Mark, you know, when we started to dissect, some things that was amazing when it came to a John Deere, ask doctors clean that way. Jesus coming talking to, you know, Mary and and talking about how this is going to work. Talking about how Jesus came to know who I'm going to teach about the kingdom of God. It's going to be different than what you see, and people going to start following me and he were going to be jealous. He starts healing paralyzed man. Telling him that he just sent to forget him. We touched on the fact that it was more important that he forgave the guy send rather than just making a man walk. Like what's more important? He looks like that. Jesus had a little bit more of Eternal perspective than anybody having to walk, right? And especially when you're dealing with something like this or maybe you guys are doing with something out there a relationship, a diagnosis, no matter what is, and you start to see, you know, what I am. I want to know that Jesus is really forget my since, you know, and if you decide to let me walk to, that's a freaking icing on the cake, right? Amazing stuff, you know, in this is Dan and we start talking about new day. We start talking about muster Seas, right? We start talking about faith. Jesus had just 12, that he was looking for when he hit the scene, right? And you knew it was Cities following him in the scribes and teaches the religious law. They were all concerned about the followers Instagram or Facebook or someone else in this generation, you know? And Jesus like well they were, he was kind of indifferent towards towards the whole thing. You know, he was like give me the 12 a.m. Look for anyone like a mustard seed of Faith. There's so many crops when she starts Catalyst, keep speed and then boom, right until The Book of Mark has changed my life. Thanks to you guys, you know, and the Final Chapter was Good Friday. And new day was gracious? Enough to talk about braze real quick? Sundays in the morning. Pastor will text me and ask me how I'm doing and it hasn't been a very good answer and this morning I am up dude and I'm not hitting every single wall and goes really. I said, yeah, I'm going to be there man, and he was awesome. And I'm thinking in my mind. I'm thinking my heart. Is this a new chapter, you know, Festival, Jerry Linden. All you hear are giving me the grace to heal and giving me an opportunity, still be up here. That's amazing to thank you. So so here we go, right. Good Friday. We start preaching about the last chapter. Jesus was crucified crucified. He started talking about Jesus, begging his father, three times, going back to the disciples and ask him why they couldn't wake up. They were tired, very tired and we have no place to judge any good buddy in that book whether they didn't bleed when they're in the boat. Whether they didn't believe. When the girl was lifted from the dead, whether they couldn't stay awake when Jesus was praying, you know, This is one of the things we're in touch on this morning is we have no room to judge for anybody. We need to just start seeing for perspective and understand. You know, what? That could have been tough, you know, and here we go. And yeah, he laid his father three times. Please take this cup. I don't want to get whooped this way. It's going to be a horrible horrible. Death, you know, and he took it like a man. And because of that, we get to have a life. Has nothing to do with what we see on this window and we're talkin about a life or streets are paved with gold, you know, and that's pretty tight when you start to think about this because you said something about this like he says, you know, what money? Get Smart. What does this is not stop talkin about material. He talks a lot of things, you know, but don't talk about that material, but I think you know, what's important? So there's something I want to touch on this morning. I thought it was important for us to be reminded and it's always good to be reminded and it's always good. But if we can apply that today tomorrow, next week, next month, next year is what I want to do is start talking about pride and ego, judgment and honesty, okay? And how that applies in our life and how we can help the people. I need help. Okay, cuz we are Christian and we're from the new day. We believe in Jesus. And one of the things that Jesus practiced, it was very hard to see. Is God bless you, honey. How are you looking beautiful like ever?

Is he practice is all the whole time, people are going to be very arrogant. Prideful, you go tistical dishonest and Jesus is going to decide to go to High rap. You know, he's going to bleach, he's going to act, he's going to do something that is going to buy for everybody. That's watching going. How can he do that? Well, he started preaching about that. He said my kingdom is different than yours. If someone to smack you give me other cheek, you know, what are you talkin about? Jesus were talking about getting away from yourself cuz that is temporary. So that's what I wanted to talk about. Remind us about OK, Avent packed with the people. It's going to be hard as soon as you hard to give them some sort of Godly influence. To help me, you know, and I don't know how you guys feel about this world. Right? We can all have our own opinion about how this world is going. I can have mine my own too and I wouldn't mind hearing yours is fine. But what I see is, you know, if you get the right amount of people watching, they can watch that response and you can magnify that response and it does say, if you do 50 people see and it's that turns into 10,000 people. See, and they do the same thing, you know, or whatever. I don't know. I'm just rambling, but when it comes to me, What's that good food? She would. I don't know if it is really cold out. Okay, and and here we go. That's that's what it's talking about, making making the same way. Both says he wants us to read every single day. We have to make our attitude and don't own as Christ Jesus, right? And so we're trying to Stand Tall, be confident, forgive right? Don't judge be honest. Don't end in and start to understand it within yourself, is his ego is his pride. Where's it coming from. Can you help me? Can you show me? Who am I being?

Two other people, right? And so, if you find yourself in a situation with people saying to your best friend, a friend, a family member somebody, and you feel maybe the way you're being treated is horrible. Is it their fault?

I mean, how do you think? Or do you think it? Is it partly or is it all your fault? Right. I don't have the answer. I can't tell you that that's your stuff and if you find it perfect, the first time kudos to you. You know, one of the things I found on some things, one of the life transforming opportunities with one season in my life was Journal. Okay, it was a journal answers to questions being asked. I started answering some questions with him paper. And I start unlocking some things. I would have never ever thought about myself and I was able to share about it and tell somebody, hey, you know what? I have been a straight-up jerk. And I've only thought about myself, you know, I care about this bill that I can't pay. I care about my family that I can't raise. I care about the debt that I never going to make. I care. You know, this is yummy eyes right there. I I just stop. Just stop, you know, you know that I but anyway, When I started think is what can I do? How can I change this? Well do something different? What kind of hard to be different sometimes right? How is it different? How is it hard to be different? The same way it's hard when you get up and work cowboy hat in the morning instead of your normal stuff. Right? It's uncomfortable. You know, how about going to the gym? Who goes to the gym? Anybody? Yeah, Niceville, I love it, bro. Good job, man. I'm going to keep rooting for you. Go go. Go, man. What's that? Okay. Yeah, it is nice. I think I owe a little bit. I got to go today. They love me again.

But yeah, so you start doing things uncomfortable. What you start seeing is.

You can you can things can be produced that I actually ended up starting to look matter. All right, you got a gym and start doing 50 push-ups for the day. Again, I guarantee it doesn't feel good. And him, right? But one day man, you getting dressed for the gym. You take off your shirt and he's looking. You just

Man, looking I'm looking better good like I should see it, you know. And you just ask him then. Hey, what are you doing? Are you going to put in some work?

I'm talking about some type of physical fitness. I'm talking about spiritual. Cleanest. Okay, just same thing, obviously different but same. We're exercising muscles, right? It's hard, right? Wishing we deal with the world, you know, cuz I can guarantee you right now, you deal with the world and they're going to do what you want. What what they want you to do. You can be accepted a lot. You know, depending on where you're going the crowd that you're with the crowds can accept you pretty quickly just cuz they know what he's down with it. I just never tell you no. Or is that guy's going against the reigning? He's telling people not to talk about him when they're behind the back. Are you serious, right? Do you are you are you that kind of person? Can you do that? Right? Can you stand around a circle of guys that are talking about somebody that's on the road driving your truck. It's not in front and you make sure you at least telling them that 2K cuz he's not defending himself and I don't like to do it, you know, and then they look at you like you're just What you know, he's going to be that guy. You know, he might see some some some push-ups going a little bit more. Is it? Perfect? No, I'm just making example, you know, this stuff is fun. This is stuff. I like to talk about, you know, and you know, it's a relationship.

Wife kids, family, mom, Grandma friends. They're everywhere. You always have a chance to represent Jesus. You always have a chance to represent. New Day. Always have a chance of represent us. This is who we are. This is how we get down. We believe we believe in eternal life. We believe in heaven. We believe that Jesus came and suffering for us. We believe we live. Like the same power that took Jesus, out of grave still lives in us. Like, we believe that we are walking with the Holy Spirit. We believe that we can pray and ask God to manifest himself in our house. We pray that he can take our heart and examine some darkness that we need to look into. We can pray when we Journal, we can ask God to unlock, Cindy seems to change us, you know, and it says, me anxious about nothing. And pray about everything is talking about stop. Stop being an Asian anxious and start praying. You know, I don't remember my prayer life that really started develop, and it's not no one better and no one better than here at all. But this happened at Reeve Trucking in and I had court dates for a little Bobby. I had child support date for little Barbie. I just got this everywhere and I know I was getting clean. It was nine years ago and there was a lot of work load that need to be covered. You know, they were lying on me and I was picking up this new Compass new brokerage. They never even had their And there was so many irrational, beliefs, and I had about myself, I have to do this, have to do this, have to do this. How do you know? I thank God. I don't feel the same way right now. Amen. Yes, but on I would go to the back of the yard way in the back of the back of the truck. There was Precast panels and there was railroad tracks and I found a little spot behind the Precast panels and play latest spot for my knees and toes everyday. I would I don't know when I just go and go way back there and I'll sit on my knees and start praying. And I was asking God to help me with these things cuz I didn't have no clue and I just pray, you know, help me about these days. Tell me about this guy. I want to be a good man. I want to get clean and want to do the things for my family, you know, these neat sometimes if I was struggling Out, start doing check marks on my on my prayer on my on my arm, you know, and it's so, you know how to hit challenges at work and stuff and I like just kind of glasses glancing my arm and back this is what's up, you know, and we can, here we go. Something still happen today. 9 years later. It's smack me in the face and make me understand. You know, what? That prayer, just got onto it. You know like God is faithful. You know, it's I think it's our time. It's not our timing. You know God's I hold on. So, I know you got some time bro. I hear you but didn't take some time and I want to hear you again and I want to hear you again and we'll do it later, you know, and there's been some things. You know. I was like you pray for the house. There's no words. No way in shape. You are ready for a house. You know, how responsible you had to be. You know, it took a long time. He finally gave me one and I'm like, wow God you actually gave me one. So yeah, you worked yourself out of date that started understanding, what? It's like to be responsible. And here you go. I'm just like, oh my God, is amazing. Right? The same thing happens with hewing, you know, God's telling me about healing mental, physical spiritual house. Not on a one-way Street happens, everywhere. You know, that Faith to believe are you walking around? I'm dying. I'm dying. Are you walking around on you? What? Guys, still with me? I don't know what his plans are, but he's with me, you know. So Amen to that and I do understand. That's all I was really talking about one of the things I wanted to remind you. Real quick about eating real quick. It's just another correlation thing I got is eating at night. I don't know if anybody's ever done this, probably not you as a perfect. So

If you eat at night, so you wake up 12 in the morning. Boo. I don't know. And for some crazy reason you got a sweet tooth like nobody's business and you know exactly where that cupcake is when waiting and you know that it's okay. You almost caused a mistress already, you know, and you almost have an affair date, you know, you almost ready to engage in a serious situation and see you grab that cupcake. And you look at it, man. You looking at in your like where have you been my whole life, you know, this is me and you and we are going to do it and you sneeze.

Exactly. You starting on that one? But, you know.

It sucks, because you start to eat that cupcake. And yeah, you might you might love what it does for you. You know, that is your mistress, it is going to satisfy that need. now, you have You know about God's man. Does he hate what it does to you?

You definitely changing a belt. You change about you and change your clothes. You can look in the mirror, you know, all that spiritual stuff that you've been doing it to push out everything cupcake cupcake, you know, it's not going to keep doing well to you. Right? And what I'm reminding to you is is is a simple this reminder that some of the pride ego honesty stuff that were talking about today. Sometimes it's just about being a little uncomfortable. And once you get uncomfortable, what you're doing is going to experience some great things and we are here with new date with you. We are backing you up 100%. We do not do this alone. Okay, we do this together. A hundred percent. Are we perfect? No. Am I know. I made mistakes every day, you know, but I want to let you know. We are, we are with you for praying for you. We love you. We want to continue this. And this, this new day is going to get bigger and bigger, but Jesus wasn't looking at followers. So he's saying following me. So I guess we don't need a bunch of followers followers, either. He actually looked looked at 12. I'm looking at more than 12 just right here. You don't? I mean, what's the deal? I Think Jesus is just trying to let you know something, you know to change you. So you can change someone else and they can change someone else and they can change someone else. I was sending you $95,000 sent, you know. So it's all good and done. So, I'm going to encourage you guys to, to just be good. With this kind of stuff and just know that if you ever need to call anyone, maybe there's someone here who actually you know what? I like I am going to call that guy. Seems he seemed so many spin-offs in things that I need to hear or maybe that lady, you know, we do it together, you know, and I really appreciate that you guys give me the chance to a, do you enough to want to still preach after being gone, you know, because it's not fair but you guys had given me is that kind of Graces really, really nice to be able to handle that for somebody knows, the way we got the place so close. And the way we actually got the house, you know, this miracle story, you know, hundred, and $34,000 in debt 79 Grand to child, support 38,000 IRS. Could not stop using drugs. 9 years ago, didn't have nothing and surrendered. One night just told, God. I will try, you know, in the next day. I was at an ark Narcotics Anonymous meeting and I started going to grab any. I got baptized with Crystal, my wife, you know, and we just got Josh, 30 days. Later from CVS. Did your corn need directions found a job and my kids told me one time you wake up, every single morning. I said Son, as soon as the alarm clock goes off. There is zero negotiating. I have to go, I have these people to start. I need them to to understand that they can count on me. You know, and so for years and years and years for 15 at alarm clock fan and it was a spring up and go swing up and go, you know, so so after all that time, you know, I was dealing with a child support lady. I'm calling her almost once a month, at least asking you about my dad, offered my ex away. Take 7500 if I sold my boat and so I gave it to her. She said, yes for gave 22 and still a lot from reirse filed within 8 months earlier earlier. I pay the 150 bucks a year for three years. He said here certify that and when you get a letter call me like okay cool, you know, size certified it and I'm dealing with Shasta County for that child support unit.

He just wants to be short, but she told me the deal isn't made yet. She can change her mat her mind, especially now, that covid just hit. So the judges aren't even coming recording them. Like, great. So a few months later. She called me to Bobby. You owe me $0.95. I said, are you serious?

Oh my God. Are you serious? $0.95? She said yeah, she said, you know stimulouscheck I said, yeah, she was we took yours instead and she said I don't need it anymore. I would took that stimulus and then we forgave that money. And now you owe is $0.95. And I got back home, and I seen Crystal and I said Crystal, I cannot believe this, but I'm not a debt with child support. Are you serious? Yeah, she just got a letter from an Irish today when I really as soon as she opened the letter and send it to Rob, Robert lived after examining that your tax returns. We've determined that you owe $0.

Right now, I'm like, are you serious? $0 IRS is $0 child, support, hundred and $34,000 and I called Wells Fargo. I'm debt-free. My credit looks kind of good. Now. If she I'm just saying, just saying if he has want to let me borrow a house.

Is his head Looney? I told Josh and Jason and Jason like Bobby. I see something in north Stockton man. I don't know why but I said, okay cool. Yeah, let's do it. I'm looking everywhere. Bubba blah.

I said, okay, we brought it and the house is a rag paint Neenah pool, and everything is not there and we held each others hands it to come in a guy's, hold these hands. It was a wreck. But I see, you know, you see potential and I we held each other in the circle, and if they got it, this is a yes. Make it. Yes, cuz I am so confused at this point. I don't know exactly what you need me to do. I just got this diagnosis of your ago. If I'm not supposed to be wise to tell me now, please. I don't care. I care about you, you know, I do, I'm not looking for your hand here. I want your face. I want you to show me how to beat you. And they got back from a walk and they look need this guy looking in case he goes. You know, I'm like, oh my God, you know, so he's all, yeah, it's priority by any means that it's going to help me to ease the stress and I was like, dude, and the day after I'm off of Reed, when I'm getting in the shower and Crystal his face time and it's my agent, is it what's up, and she said, pop, you know, the wine bottle and she's like, congratulations offer except that, you know, I'm like this is just Miracle above miracle miracle, you know, and only created you. Fetches, the house. You know, I'm sharing you guys just a quick love story. I'm just want to share with you guys and tell you that we're here for you to love you. No matter what. It is, man. It could be a $5. Unpaid bill that needs to be there, or maybe it's something else that you need to struggle with that. You want help for? We're here. You know, it's hard cuz there's a lot of people that are not going to look at you, but I can guarantee you there's a lot of people in the Kingdom of me to start looking at you going. Those are the people we need, you know, and you can change people and then people change people and all the sudden, you know. So, thank you guys so much when he's trying to do too much for you guys. We love you so much. God. We thank you for our work. A team for every member, every conversation, every child in this place. Every teacher. Every saint, every Minister doesn't matter. We love all of All of the people God and We Trust You. Lord, we trust you and we want to know you got more and more. So there we invite you to our heart online notes, the crannies, whatever you need. It's yours. And we're going to we're not going to keep blaming herself and think that this is all our fault cuz you tell us, don't do that. You tell us to stop being Asian.
