Let's try that again. I was on vacation last week. So I'm excited. I'm back on vacation. I made it for you. How many feet?

Thank you. Thank you. I'm glad to be back. I do like to thank everyone for allowing me that time off. Last week. I went down to Clemson to see my step daughter graduating with a bachelor's degree in architecture and she's been accepted into the master's program at Clemson. So she's about to start her master's degree in the same field of work. So, we're super excited for her. I got a chance to enjoy some time to rise and, and a little party for her in her honor and and I even got to pray for. That was pretty cool. So, anyway, I was glad you back. I'm glad to be in the house of God. I hope you're glad to be in the house of God. This morning. We got a lot going on for you this morning and just super excited about it. You know, God is in the miraculous business. Is he. Amen? We serve a god that is higher and fully Earth and stronger. The enemy that we face is not a man, so, we got some really good things happen and there would you like to share first weather in regards to how you doing? Cuz I believe you got a call. I didn't get the call, so I don't want to take your phone your phone yet. Macy's.

I talked to Meg yesterday, kidneys are doing great. Can you doctor said, I don't need to see you again. Amen, and she also has I think she said a lady Val so I may go in and try to take care of that and if so may and Diana planning to stay in during what to do.

I know you don't know this, but if it's me, but I called them before the day before they left, and I called them on the road as they were going down to Florida to see Francis. And the attitude and the actions of those that were in the car work. We're going to see Frances for the last time you need to talk and for them to get there and nothing's wrong is nothing short of a miracle. A man for his mighty hand with that. We have another praise, and I've asked Thomas to come up here, to come on up here while I introduce you. I called, shortly after I called him a lot. During the whole ordeal of him getting a bypass surgery tomorrow, and there was days where he didn't want to hear from you.

Yeah, I know and and our church has so many compliments and I said, you know. It's not me. It's all God. But more than that, I want you to tell the people what you told me about their support would have been to you. Absolutely. I can't think any of you enough for all the cards and prayers and everything that you've done for me and how good you make me feel, and how happy I am to really be here with all of y'all. Especially after what I've been through. I can't, I can't begin to. Thank you.

We understand that we live in a world that is got the size off with you. The understand the word that we are, yet people that need a savior, people that need the Lord, Lord is so wonderful. And so great to see your power, and your majesty and your omnipresence lord. We see these things in their eyes, for the can't save more than it's a miracle of God. It's nothing. We do. It's no special prayer to Pastor, praise and should have people coming together in unity and praying for the person that we love and praying for the person that needs prayer. Lord, we praise you with, thank you and we asked for your presence being the service. Today. We ask for that, you would be with the hearts of those are here and we asked his the Holy Name of Jesus and all God's people said, amen.

Going to do something a little different today.

You didn't care about that, couple counseling actually. But you know, one of the things that really made me smile a couple weeks ago was when somebody came up to ask me to pray over situation and I can just do it while I'm gone. You know, I don't have any special powers per say other than being obedient to God, to try to preach his word. So you can do with John, we said, no. No, we want our pastor. And I've got kind of smile with that. I really did because it makes me feel nice, until you know, it's our prayer. And I do believe that God called his house to be a House of Prayer. A man with the freaking bad today, hit the House of Prayer. So we like to pray that you'll come up here and Trudy. If they'll come up here. I want to see to sit right here in the left seat and Trudy to sit in the right seat. Just he's been dealing with some help. I want the rest of the family to come up behind them. We're going to give sissies up the seat of Honor for you gentleman. That don't know what the the seat of honor is its to the left and the family from behind her.

I didn't do this for Thomas and I don't know why I wasn't thinking about it for, you know, the wife is Faust. The mother is a huge support of prayer for their grandchildren. And then I forgot how to do that with the promise that I'm sorry, but I haven't forgot to do it because it means a lot to her. So I'll tell you about the story and if I want you to do is come up here. We're going to lay hands on her. We're going to pray for the situation. Is that sissy as you know, we've been praying for her for a long time with cancer. They took the cancer out and everything looked good for a while. If I'm wrong, please. Correct me. Everything looks good for a while. The cancer has come back and she's got in her lymph nodes. So I hope she has a radiation and chemotherapy starting June 6th. And for her just like we did with a brother male Maxine that family and asked me did Thomas and others. We need to be in prayer and unity about this. So if you will, please come forward. Everybody in the church. We're going to lay hands on her deal with those. I can't get close enough to her, to put your hand on somebody to sit next to you. If we're going to pray for sister.

Almighty, God, doesn't come to you for the life of sissy. We praise you and thank you. That we know that you are loving God. Who is greater than this disease. To me face cost is lowered in case you and thank you for Sissy and Trudy and their family coming to this church and being a part of this church and even when they weren't nobody still praying for him cuz we love them and we know that's what we're supposed to do with. Lord is a blessing to see sissy. Today has been a blessing to be here every day this week. A right now. Lord. I just pray that you would heal her body deliver her from yesterday's all cancer. Lourdes free her spirit. Let her know that we love her. We support her. We're praying for her. We asked in the Holy righteous name of your son who died for Sissy and for us, we pray in Jesus name. All right, if you have the Bible this morning, I sure. Hope you do. Please open at the John 3:7. I was hoping he would be here because this sermon today is going to have one Title, One Word. Remember how doctor told you to always say. She preached the sermon with one word titles, and there's an emphasis on a side. This morning is the word must mu. John chapter 3. 7.

Is there myself?

We've been going through a series of messages here in the church about what we believe. And it's important that, you know, what you believe, and why you believe it, or least, why your pastor believes it, or why your church believes it. And it's frustrating. When you have the word of God, and it's very clear and concise on what we are to do. And yet we don't listen to it. We don't pay attention to it and it gets very frustrating because I imagine as we look in the God's word and we have some kind of already frequency died ears of what a church, should be on what a creature should be of what a Christian should be. Did he come to the word of God? And we're like, woah. Oh, oh, I didn't know that. The Bible doesn't say that. So we did go into a series of messages on what we believe was talked about everything from from who Jesus is. We talked about the fact that he is the savior of the world. We talked about the fact that Jesus is coming again to take his things home. And then two weeks ago, before I took my fall of paradise break. We talked about scripture, the importance of God's word and how important God's word is, and how important the emphasis On this church. Looking toward the word of God. And today. The message is on salvation. You know, it's interesting to know that there are a lot of denominations out there that believe a lot of different things, take a short survey here and just passed around the room to get your exposure to religion or exposure to the Bible exposure. To Jesus Christ, who all maybe not a grown-up, maybe in a Catholic Church. Okay, Methodist. Two more Presbyterian.

Okay. What is Pentecostal? Charismatic.

Who are not going to raise her hand? No matter what? Question. I asked to be the whole row of back there tonight. It's okay. We all have religion should be in and what salvation should be and actually attend many different churches or denominator. Various ideas are brought about, or at least the way David, which they do the church service. Bring the mouth with his priority in their life and priority in the church. So, what I'm getting at today, and I want to focus on the church and our believe without one salvation is and what it is. Not And as a pastor, as a preacher, I can dance to be a lot of people that will tell me what they think. Salvation is. You know, you you might ask somebody. If they say well, I believe that one day. I'm going to walk up into heaven and Saint Peter's going to be at the Pearly Gates and he's going to look into. Turn into the heaven.

They really do. But there's nothing to support that. There's people, you talk to that might say, I don't believe.

And yet. Believe that they're headed to Heaven because the loving God would never send them to hell. Have you heard this one? There are many roads to heaven. It's already in the same place.

But yet scripture is totally against that theory. You do ask for 12 since there a Salvation and no one else for there is no other name under Heaven. Given among men. Whereby you must be safe. A man with deaf people filters many roads to happen, you know, this one, this person this denomination will lead you to have in this world. I believe you two have in this one. With me to heaven. I'm going to tell you. It's not the church. It's Jesus Christ and him crucified. Amen. It's not Bethlehem. It's not Jerry. It's not. Is it? Jesus Christ? Amen, there's people out there that believe I'm a good person if I just continue to do good. I believe that God will see the goodness and allow me into heaven. But yes, we're going to says the Jesus said of himself. I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through Jesus. If you know Jesus, you will know the father for now. You have seen the father. Amen.

you know what people say or I can just do enough. I'm sure I'll make it to heaven. And yet scripture says, for by grace. Are you saved through faith? Not of yourself. Let me see anyone. How about this one? When I die? My fellow Christians and Believers will pray, me? Pray for me and do things for me to make it to heaven. How about this one? I would go to a waiting place that you will Purgatory if you will in hopes of making it to heaven. You know, all these sound logical and they sound good, but guess what's true about all the ones I just gave you. They're all false. Every one of those believe, our phones. The scripture I have told you the truth, but those are both theories are tossed. It's no different than if I were to take Wonderful toys.

I bought this knowing that one day I'd using the server. This is a little fun little gadgets for those prior to electronics. It was what we did for fun. It would be like 3 today to say, ask it a question. Will Jerry pay for my lunch today? Most likely we go to Lucas for lunch.

Will I go to heaven when I die?

Think about it. What is that? All right, who's had one of these when they were?

But you ask stupid questions and I got answers think of this a long time. God is real. Fortune cookie. But, would you do that with your destiny about spending eternity in heaven or hell? And base it on something as simple or stupid? Is this stupid? But some of these things that we believe are just about, like, asking the State ball question. And by the way, if any of the kids want this at the church, but you can help. All right, waiting. And what I liked about this when I was a kid that you didn't like the answer. Guess what?

Is that like us or we ask God for something? I didn't like that answer. Really shake it again. Okay, I like that much better. But we're talking about eternity here and all those theory is almost logical. Things have proof texts that are in the Bible that talk about what we need for salvation. So if we know has not talked about that previously. But Salvation is John chapter 3 verses 1 through 7 says there was a man from the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler Lejeune. This man came to him at night and said Rabbi. We know you are a teacher who has come from job or no one can You do another gods were with him, but Jesus At Night. Where is good reason to cook them. Both of those men were very busy during the day or good?

Because no one can do these signs, that you're doing unless god with. So you realized then who you talkin to? The dots with this man named Jesus, Jesus replied to me. I feel you unless someone is born again. He cannot see the kingdom of God, how can you?

His mother's womb a second time and we'd be born. Unless someone is born of water and the spirit. You cannot enter the kingdom of God, what a morning, flash and flash. And whoever this morning spirit is Spirit, do not be ashamed that I tell you. You must be born. This is the story of you several times. In our church service. I won't tear it apart, but I will tell you this much hear, Jesus tells him. That. Jesus. The remember, is God manifests in The Flash, and he tells a man who knows the Old Testament scriptures. He tells him. Why are you Mark like this? That you must be born again? And then he tells them, what is why? He said, you must be boarded, the spirit and the flat and then he goes on the murder.

And then he handed fibrosis 7 which is where I want us to focus. Our attention. Do not be amazed. I tell you, you must be born again. So let me ask you a question. Must be born again.

Why?

Does Bible says? You must be. Must be a priority in this church to make. Priority for people to get saved. Absolutely. Absolute must be a priority whether I'm reaching here for their Johnny preaching here or weather. About about God, there should be a dancer. Message to be a born-again. Amen.

so, you must be

There's a necessity, you must be born again. Then goes on to say, in order to not only see the kingdom of God.

Must be.

You know, I was coming. You know, I live in Newport News and yesterday I was driving back home from doing some shopping and I saw this but it said, right.

Here you are, you're in this Lane and says You must answer. It doesn't say. So what do we do?

Do we do that? Like, with, with God as well? When God says in his word, you must do something.

Going this way. You must make a decision for him. You must be born again.

Might have to give up my send. I like to pick. I might have to give up some control of my life. I don't want to do that. But God says You must be born again. You must. So, when I say you'll be born again, it's a war to come.

I've been to like that. I'm sure is not convenient to. I've lived a life that doesn't things to my life. I've done some things to my family. I've done some things outside of teeth. I still have bad thoughts. I just, you know, I know that I'm just sure I'm sure of what God wants me to do. And we know that because God says all have fallen short of the glory of God, Amen.

But muqabla understanding what your life is in Disobedience with your Christian or not a Christian. There's always a point. Well, I understand. Now. I've got the Holy Spirit or the Holy Spirit. But guess what? You fail, you do something bad and you think about thought, maybe you lie. Do you like not want to be like you?

So you can't you ask God for forgiveness of the things that you're thinking you're doing there or acted upon? And God wants us to understand in his word that the wages that sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus. Even when you're Back to the point when you understood that your sand and making it. To be in God's presence. We have to confess our sin. If you're the person today, and you said, God is my Lord and Savior.

But you coming.

So they got to come in and you come into him and have that relationship with him so that you can be in one with God.

How many years has people live including myself away from God away with his presence and feeling like you're alone in this world and yet that day comes along and you ask Jesus.

And a load of weight is off my back. I'm tired of carrying this all myself. And now I'm walking with the Savior. Am I perfect?

He's walking with me. And when I do things that are wrong.

What you did. There was wrong. You see God, prove his love for us in that while we were singing and continue to send. Christ died for us.

And 1st Thessalonians, 5:9 says this way for God did not appoint us to be to wrath but to obtain salvation to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Because the day is coming when you and I would give the count to the Holy One. Jump Jehovah.

Romans, 14:12 says soda and each of us will give an account of himself to God. Hebrews 4:13 says no creature in is hidden from him of all things are naked and exposed to the eyes of him of whom we must give an account. What does that mean? That means there's nothing in this life and you can do that. God doesn't see. That means there's nothing that we can do or say or even think about the God doesn't know. And it means one day we're going to have to give bring everything.

Amen, but you've asked me this in your heart to one thing you will not have to do. Is worried about your tent. And your relationship with God. Jesus was already paid about the paper that on the cross at Calvary. You do have to have, to have to ask for forgiveness, for those sins that, you know, what, God speak to you about. And ask God, to forgive you, but your relationship with God is good based on your relationship with you and Jesus. Amen. Is this Romans 10:9 birth, and at 10:10. It says, if we could mess up her mouth, Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God hath raised him from the dead. They'll be saying One Believes with the heart results in righteousness, and with the one confesses with the mouth resulting in Salvation. What gets me as we think about this topic of must being born again? And how many churches you go to today that you go in there? There's a good service is a good band or is good, whatever you like but good worship going on. But nowhere in the message, does the preacher say You must be born again? No worries. I must get right with God. Although his word says You must, we must do that. I'm trying to make this a priority in our church, that it should be normal for our church. And what we believe is for us to get people to receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, so that they will not go to hell. So they will go to heaven and be with God and Glory, the men that should be a priority in this church. Not just the preacher. But if you get priority with the teachers and Sunday school class, it should be a priority with every member. He should be such a priority with everybody here. That every day we walk around we go around 3, ask people. Do you have a church? if you don't have,

can you do that?

Can you do that?

I say that because so many times back in the day when I was younger, it was.

I was here once today. Y'all don't know that I was I was here at the church lady of knock on the door here. She she actually cut dog's hair. You know the one I'm talking about. Bull tattoos and everything so we could relate, you know, I'm like hey, how you doing? I do not come to church. We would love to have your heart.

That's what this church has. Got to be.

It's going to be in love with people, you know, and we've got to make sure that we're bringing people on a journey that gives him that much closer to God. What is there a cushion for a long time and just stopped going to church? I wouldn't leave never heard of Jesus Christ or whether they're not used to going to church. Didn't go to any of those different denominations. Never Say Never.

You know, but we got to show them. What's the saying they always say? People don't know how much? But since you don't know how much you care, do you show? You don't care how much you know until they know how much?

That's what you want to see. People want to see us in love with Jesus so much that way. Amen. John 3:16 Says this way for God, so loved the world that he gave his only son's So that everyone who believes in him? But have eternal life. That's a very. Verse that talks about eternal life and it talks about God's love for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Anyone who believes in Him is not tempt, anyone who does not believe is already condemned because he is not believed in the name of the one, the only son. Amanda.

So, how do you get there the same way they did the old test. Maybe somebody hadn't told you that. By faith. If you read Hebrews chapter 11 is his wife and they were ham that you're saying and it's by faith that you believe.

when God told, Abraham go to a land.

Abraham by faith. Follow God, no business, knowing that God was wanting him to. just like when someone says, I have provided a messiah for you. That is now your high priest and his name is Jesus by faith. We put our faith in Jesus and God's promises to revive. It's fake.

So, can I come to you asking, is it our priority in the church that we make salvation? The primary thing that we focus on absolutely is the answer. But I hoped you today. Is that as a church member at somebody has been here for a long time, as a person that loosed upon this whole thing and his ministry here, regardless. If, I'm not here next week, if I'm not there next month. Or next year. I'm not here. the ministry of this church is to

I'm a Believer in surprise, but no, I haven't follow the lord in baptism. I'd like to get back. Maybe I did it when I was younger and didn't know what I was doing and didn't mean anything. But I know who I am and cries right now and I want to call and order back and maybe you're here this morning. And you've been coming to church for a while. Are you saying no, I've been coming to church for a while. I'm ready to join this church and become a part of the church and identify with the church that believes in.

if you believe that this church believes that, Least while I'm here. It's going to be I'm here to preach the Bible. I'm here to give you hope that only comes through God's word. Not sure. God's work by yourself. Don't leave me that thing on your heart, whatever. They've got to come you two, would you do it? And if you're a Christian here, this morning, I just want to again child, you to invite to invite people to come to church, but the workers are few. Will you commit yourself? Did buying people for their salvation and no other? Or there's no other name under Heaven, given among men.
