Every week over 450,000 volunteers invest in the spiritual lives of young people.
AWANA’s history.
In 1941, two men started a ministry in their church to minister to children.
They wanted a program that could be used to reach church attenders and non-church-attenders with the message of the Bible.
They had great success and by the 50’s other churches began adopting their program and spreading it throughout the country.
Our goal.
Is to give the children of our church and community the opportunity to interact directly with the Bible.
Bible story books are great.
Sunday school curriculum is needed.
There is no replacement for the Word of God stored in the heart of a child.

A workmen that needeth not to be ashamed.
