1. We did not tell “made up” stories about Jesus Christ.
2. We were the eyewitnesses of Christ’s majesty.
- The “sacred mountain” experience. Matthew 17 | Mark 9 | Luke 9
3. We have something even more important than experiences. It is the Holy Scriptures.
- More certain, more sure, more reliable
- God’s Word, given by the Holy Spirit’s work of inspiration
- Like a light shining in a dark place. Psalm 119:105
- You would do well to pay attention to it!
