This is the Life!

25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; 26 and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

27 “Yes, Lord,” she told him, “I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, who was to come into the world.” (Jn 11:25-27 NIV)

Introduction: Many people are looking for life in all the wrong places. Countless people have searched for the fountain of youth. They have tried to hold off death with wrinkle creams, herbs, and body treatments. They have tried to find life in all the wrong places. If we are serious about life:

A.      Jesus is the Spring of Life

B.      Jesus is the supplier of Life

C.      Jesus is the Sustainer of Life

II.      Get Life That is  Continuous

A.      With Jesus Your Life is not Future

B.      With Jesus Your Death is not Fatal

C.      With Jesus Your Life is not Finished

III.   Get Life Through Faith

A.      Faith that is Personal

B.      Faith in a Person

C.      Faith in progression

Conclusion:

An insurance Commercial tag line  encourages us to “Get life.” There is no insurance against death, except Jesus Christ.  In Him we need never fear death, for He is the source of life, and the only way to hold onto life.
