Acts 28:11 CSB
11 After three months we set sail in an Alexandrian ship that had wintered at the island, with the Twin Gods as its figurehead.
Castor and Pollux, (Dioscuri from Greek Dioskouroi, “Sons of Zeus”), in Greek and Roman mythology, twin deities who were the children of Leda and either Zeus, the king of the gods, or Tyndareus, Leda’s mortal husband and the king of Lacedaemon. According to the usual version, Castor was the son of Tyndareus and thus was mortal, while Pollux was the son of Zeus (who famously had approached Leda in the form of a swan). They were known to give assistance to shipwrecked sailors and receive sacrifices for favorable winds.
