The Witness of Christ's Superiority: A Superior Priesthood - Hebrews 2:14-18

Having declared the superiority of Christ in things heavenly, the author now begins to transition toward Christ superiority in things earthly as well.  He lays the groundwork for understanding the superiority of Christ's Priesthood, linking it back to the purpose of Christ's humanity.  From that basis, the author will begin to build the case proving that Christ is the superior High Priest.
