Release your Sound

Father, I’ve done my part. Now I ask that you breathe in this room. I say have your way Lord. I decrease so that you can increase. Calibrate the atmosphere for miracles, signs, and wonders. Saturate us with your presence so that we are never the same in Jesus Name. Amen

Please take your seat. As I won’t be before you long but I just wanted say :

I am so grateful to stand before you today, I give honor to God whom I love and appreciate for trusting me with His oil. I give honor to the Pastor of this house Pastor Antonio Patterson and his lovely fiance Kenya…we go way back, with over 15 years of friendship/sisterhood. The other ministers, elders in the pulpit and in the house. To my husband, thank you for covering me in love and in prayers and for supporting the gifts God has given me.

To my parents Pastor Archie and Joyce Shurn from South Bend IN I appreciate your love and support down through the years, and I pray you’ve seen a return on your investment. Hallelujah... To all of my friends, prayer partners, and loved one that came to support I appreciate you tremendously.

I just want to take a few moments to set the stage for my topic today entitled Release your Sound, Release your sound. Come on turn to the person next to you and say “Release your sound”

Now how many of you know breakthrough is participatory. In order to get something you must be willing to give something. So as I dive into this message today I want you to be ready to participate in your own breakthrough is that alright? And if you’re sitting next to someone on your row that act like they don’t want it or need it as bad as you then I going to encourage you to be a firestarter today…i need you to catch on fire and ignite everything on your row! Release your sound!

Since the beginning of time and even before that sound has played at vital role. Sound is defined as vibrations that travel through the air and can be heard once they reach a defined destination. From Genesis to Revelations sound is described as a tool to get the attention of others. In the beginning God said “Let there be and it was so” He used his sound to create. Adam and Eve heard the sound of God walking in the garden at the windy time of the day and they hid themselves from His presence. Somebody say “sound”. Let’s go to Elijah the prophet in I Kings 18:41 “ Elijah said to Ahab, “Go up, eat and drink, for there is the sound of the abundance of rain”. God loves sound. Everything He created, he created to give him praise. He created the trees to whisper in the wind, the grass to sway, the waters to ripple and rush, and the birds to sing! He loves sound. He even made a point in Luke 19:40 “And he answered and said, “I tell you that if these keep silent, the stones will cry out!”” He was referring to His disciples, he said “if they don’t release a sound I will make the rocks cry out! Come on tell your nieghbor “ I don’t want no rocks cying out for me.” God Loves sound. Sound was used in many battles, used to signify the beginning or the ending of war. In Numbers 10:9-10 “If you go to war in your land against the enemy who attacks you, you will signal with a loud noise on the trumpets. You will be remembered before your God, and you will be rescued from your enemies. He loves sound. If you’re still not convinced let’s go to

Acts 16:25-26 “Now about midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. See they were releasing their sound. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened and all the bonds were unfastened.” God Loves sound

The right sound will make God interrupt the plans of the enemy. If He needed to, he would cause a natural disaster just to get your miracle to you. Not only can your sound set you free , but it can set those around you or connected to you free too!

Let me give you some more word that will hopefully solidify the use of sound then and how your sound is critical for our now.

Joel 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for [it is] nigh at hand;

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting

And on that final day I Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed

He loves sound!

The bible tells us in Revelation 4:8 “And the four living creatures, each one of them, had six wings apiece, full of eyes around and inside, and they do not have rest day or night, saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God All-Powerful, the one who was, is, and is to come!” Everything around God creates a sound. And now that leads me to us. Human, mankind, the ones who God created in his own image, in His likeness.

Psalms 139:13-14 “Indeed you created my inward parts; you wove me in my mother’s womb. I praise you, because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works, and my soul knows it well.” I praise you, in other words I release a sound because you made me fearfully and wonderfully.

Believe it or not we are creatures of sound. You know how you feel when you wake up in the morning and you hear the birds singing, or the laughter of children, or the sound of your favorite song. There’s a feeling of joy that comes over you when you hear certain sounds. We were created to praise God. God created you and I to create a sound that would bring us back to Him. David said “my mouth is filled with praise declaring your splendor all day long”. Also David said “I will bless the Lord at all times and His praises shall continually be in my mouth.” God would not have purposed in our hearts to praise Him if it was not necessary. He put praise down on the inside of us because this was his way to draw our minds in and our hearts back toward him.

The bible says in Psalms 34:17 “They cry out and God hears and delivers them from all of their troubles.” If you have any troubles all you have to do is release a sound. He loves to hear your sound. Sound signifies life, signifies movement, and signifies direction. As I began to dig into this lesson the Lord began to reveal something to me. He said “when you release a sound that’s the very thing that allows me to locate you.” I said “How Lord, He said your sound serves as GPS (God’s Personal Scent) when you open your mouth and release a sound of praise, a sound of adoration, the sound of worship it’s like a sweet aroma, a sweet smelling savour in the nostrils of God. I already told you we were made in His image and in His likeness so God gave us each a scent that is a part of who He is. So when you begin to release your sound He’s familiar with your scent. He immediately detects it and is captivated to come see about you. Come on say He loves sound.

His words says He inhabits the praises of His people. That means He comes, He sits, he lives in your praise, He rest in your praise, I believe one of HIs love languages is words of affirmation. Because when you begin to lavish the King of Kings and Lord of Lords with praise, and with a spirit of thanksgiving I believe heaven begins to respond. I call you Faithful Father, Mighty God, Awesome Ruler, Gentle Redeemer, Lion of Judah, Great I am that I am, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper, Light in the Darkness, Come on, every once in a while you ought to begin to whisper words of affirmation, words of Praise to the one who woke you up this morning, to the one who started you on your way, to the one who meets every one of your need according to His riches in glory! He loves sound.

Okay let me slow down....GPS (God’s Personal Scent)is a special & unique gift God gave each one of us. And No 2 sounds are alike so when you open up your mouth. He says ok that’s my daughter Mary, that’s my son Antonio, that’s my daughter Judy let me make haste. When he smells the scent you are releasing through your sound He makes it His business to come see about you.

See your sound is what brings you back to Him, it’s what ushers you back into the presence of God..why do you think the enemy wants to keep you silent? Keep you isolated. Keep you in a pit of despair. The artist formerly known as Lucifer had it all, he was the chief muscian, every instrument was built inside of him, he was beautiful in every way but that wasn’t enough for him, he thought of himself more highly than he ought and God had to cast him out of heaven. So you know what that means, it created a vacancy for you and I. That’s why He can’t stand you, he can’t stand your children, he can’t stand your marriage, he can’t stand your ministry, he tries to keep you bound, sick, broken and lost. Because if he can silence you, he turns your GPS off.

ohhhhhh, But I just heard in the spirit, “Re-routing” somebody is about to get their voice back, somebody is about to get their purpose back. Re-routing! Someones about to get beauty for ashes, the oil of gladness for mourning and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Come on, who am I talking to, you’ve been bound long enough, you’ve been silent long enough. The Lord says I will restore the years that the locust, the canker worm, the catepillar and the palmer worm tried to eat up.

I decree and declare in this atmosphere that No weapon formed against you, your family, your business, your marriage....will prosper! Come on turn to your neighbor and say “I won’t be silenced, I’m releasing my sound” 2X)

God is constantly reminding us that if we call upon His name He will answer us. He is sensitive to the call of His children, He will never leave us nor will He forsake us.

Isaiah 30:19 says “For people will live in Zion; in Jerusalem, you will surely not weep. Surely he will be gracious to you; when he hears the sound of your cry, he will answer you.”

God will not leave you hopeless. He will not leave you helpless. He will not leave you in the dark.

When you release your sound, you turn on your GPS and God is able to locate you. His word says “ But the hour is coming and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth. God is a spirit and he seeks for us to worship Him! He seeks for us to worship Him in spirit and in truth, that means it must originate from within, from your heart and with sincerity. And when you release your sound from your heart with sincerity, I believe God stands at attention, drops everything, and comes to where you are.

The hour is coming and now is! The hour is coming and NOW IS! Release a sound! Hallelujah, Hallejuah

You want your body healed, release a sound, you want your loved one saved, release a sound, you want God to make a way out of no way. Release a sound, you want God to do the impossible…release a sound! It’s according to your scent that you release through your sound. That God will pick up your scent and come ready, willing and able to do exceeding abundantly above all that you can ask or think according to the power that’s working in you. We’re going to upset hell today! Tell the devil the vacancy has been filled. Come on and say it again, The vacancy has been filled. I’m taking my rightful place.

Romans 8:19 “For the eagerly expecting creation awaits the revelation of the sons of God.” The whole creation hopes for and expects the revelation of the sons of God, in fact all creation is eagerly waiting for God to show who is children are. Come on out of your mouth say “I am the one the world is waiting for” creation has been waiting on you. If you believe that come on and release a sound! Release your sound, Release a sound that will shake the atmosphere, release a sound that will put demons aflight, release a sound that will shift outcomes, release a sound that will cause heaven to open up on your behalf.

Oooo somebody’s sound just unlocked a prison door, somebody’s sound just snatched your child out of the streets, somebody’s sound just rescued your family member from drug and alcohol addictions! God says “I smell you, i smell you,” I’m coming to where you are. Out of your belly will flow rivers of living water. If you want the living water to flow release a sound, if you want your household to be delivered and walking in purpose release a sound. If you want to take back your power and authority release a sound. Come on I didn’t come to play with the enemy today. The kingdom of God suffers violence but the violent take it by force. I need some no limit soldiers to rise up and be accounted for, It doesn’t matter how young or old you are. I need you to put on the full armour of God and release a sound that let’s your enemy know he’s not dealing with a lightweight…but we serve a Mighy God a God who carries more weight than we can imagine. He’s the undeafeated, heavywieght champion of the Multiverse. Buzz Light year said “To infinity and Beyond”.

When you become so desperate, you don’t care what sound you release. I remember, going through labor pains and as it intensified my sound began to shift, the more intense the pain, the more intense the sound. So if we can apply that same scenario in the spirit realm, you’ve been under intense labor pains (the thing you’ve been called to carry, the purpose God desires you to walk out) if you are here today and your situation has become harder and harder your sound needs to match that same level of intensity. Release a sound that will cause your water to break, release a sound that will cause that thing you’ve been carrying to be birthed into this atmosphere. Come on, Push and release a sound. Get out of your own way, and push, release your sound. Creation is waiting on you, PUSH men and women of God, PUSH until you feel a shift in your circumstance! Push and release your sound!!!

There’s deliverance in your sound, there’s breakthrough in your sound. Divine wisdom coming through your sound. Creative ideas and witty inventions are coming through your sound. Provision is coming through the release of your sound. Don’t allow the enemy to turn your GPS off, with life circumstances. Press into His presence with your sound, and I promise you; He will locate you and bring you whatever you need.

He is the Great I Am that I Am! If you need provision call on Jehovah Jireh our God who provides, if you need peace call on Jehovah Shalom our God of Peace, if you need a win in your life call on Jehovah Nissi our Victorious God. If you need Him to show up in your circumstance call on Jehovah Shammah our present God. Whatever you need, when you release your sound He will locate you. I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken or His seed begging for bread. Release your sound today! And activate your GPS!

(GPS)God’s Personal Scent . He’s going to pick you up in the spirit and meet you where you are. There’s no fear in him, there’s no doubt in Him. If you want it, release a sound.

In this next season of life, we will not be silent. We will take our rightful place of the true sons and daughters of God. Not for us to get the glory but for Him to get the glory. He said if I be lifted up in the earth I will draw ALL men unto me. When you get in position, God responds! I feel the atmosphere shaking there is some scents being released that is causing God to step in your now!

Let everything that has breath Praise the Lord!

Come on all over the building as I am closing let’s just worship the Lord our God for a few seconds. Heaven is ready to pour out upon ALL flesh, when you are open and ready to receive. Release your sound and allow God to locate you.
