Intro

the man who was blind, was healed
he reported to the Jewish elite
they looked this his parents.
when back to him,
the made ask why did they want him to share the story again, maybe they wanted t be His disciples.
the Jews said that they are from Moses, and they don't know where Jesus comes from.
This man who was healed stands for Jesus Christ.
Lets continue.
John 9:30–41 NASB95
30 The man answered and said to them, “Well, here is an amazing thing, that you do not know where He is from, and yet He opened my eyes. 31 “We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him. 32 “Since the beginning of time it has never been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a person born blind. 33 “If this man were not from God, He could do nothing.” 34 They answered him, “You were born entirely in sins, and are you teaching us?” So they put him out. 35 Jesus heard that they had put him out, and finding him, He said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” 36 He answered, “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?” 37 Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him, and He is the one who is talking with you.” 38 And he said, “Lord, I believe.” And he worshiped Him. 39 And Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind.” 40 Those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things and said to Him, “We are not blind too, are we?” 41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.

V. 30-33

John 9:30–33 NASB95
30 The man answered and said to them, “Well, here is an amazing thing, that you do not know where He is from, and yet He opened my eyes. 31 “We know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is God-fearing and does His will, He hears him. 32 “Since the beginning of time it has never been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a person born blind. 33 “If this man were not from God, He could do nothing.”
The man says here that He is Amazed, that these religious elites don't know where Jesus is from. He has performed a miracle.
This man becomes bold as he is dealing with these elites.
this man finds this an amazing thing, that these religious folk would be so willing to be ignorant of Jesus in there unbelief.
The man shares that NO ONE has even been given sight to the bind.
If Jesus wasa not from God, He could do nothing .
remember He is talking to the Jewish elites. They cant do anything.
fear of God
Proverbs 9:10 NAS
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
~ Will. the-lam-a
This man says that He is amazed that these people Jews don’t believe after all they have seen.

V. 34

John 9:34 NASB95
34 They answered him, “You were born entirely in sins, and are you teaching us?” So they put him out.
The Pride of the religious folk.
They could not beat this man in what he is saying,
they could not intimate Him
In this they reject the man, the miracle, and the one who performed the miracle (Jesus)
and in this, they put Him out.
Because they could not fight Him, they could not put him in a corner, they removed Him.
- My mom’s old saying: “They would rather shoot you then deal with you....”
-This man, was healed, and instead of accepting Jesus as the healer, they rather remove Him.
He was already an outcast because of His disablity
John 9:35–41 (NAS)
35Jesus heard that they had put him out, and finding him, He said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”
36He answered, “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?”
37Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him, and He is the one who is talking with you.”
38And he said, “Lord, I believe.” And he worshiped Him.
39And Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind.”
40Those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things and said to Him, “We are not blind too, are we?”
41Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.
John 9:35–38 NASB95
35 Jesus heard that they had put him out, and finding him, He said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?” 36 He answered, “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?” 37 Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him, and He is the one who is talking with you.” 38 And he said, “Lord, I believe.” And he worshiped Him.
John 9:37-38
John 9:37–38 NAS
37Jesus said to him, “You have both seen Him, and He is the one who is talking with you.” 38And he said, “Lord, I believe.” And he worshiped Him.
The man is now removed from the temple and the word is out.
Jesus hears of this a finds the man.
Jesus ask this man if He believed the Son of Man (or do you put your trust in the Son of man)
the man knows what Jesus did for him, He wants the relationship.
this man not only can see Jesus. But he can See Jesus.
the man believed and Worshiped.

V.39-41

John 9:39–41 NAS
And Jesus said, “For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may become blind.” Those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things and said to Him, “We are not blind too, are we?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.
Jesus came to give sight to the blind. And to shame those who say they see.
the Pharisees that were with Him.
even the Jews that were with Jesus questioned Hom about this.
NOTICE; the blind man can see Him. But the Jews with Him could not.

v.41

John 9:41 NASB95
41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but since you say, ‘We see,’ your sin remains.
The Pharisees were arrogant, they believed that they were right with God.
They viewed themselves as higher than others.
They did not believe that they were blind.
If they were truly blind, (Ignorant of the Truth of God, they would not have sin, they will not be guilty of there believing)
But because they say that they are seeing, sin still remins
but they are adamant that they are able to see.
Can you SEE?
Can you SEE?????
Beware of the danger of pride, arrogance.
STOP
Martha and Mary.....
Luke 10:38–41 NASB95
38 Now as they were traveling along, He entered a village; and a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. 39 She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord’s feet, listening to His word. 40 But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things;
