More Abundant Life

More Abundant Life 139 1 Kings 4

John 10:10

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."

-The thief has stolen the true meaning of life, he has killed many a souls perception of what true living is, and he has destroyed life after life by telling us the lie that life is not about God, it's not about a relationship with His Son, that true living is in things, possesions, prominence, power and prestige... There is nothing wrong with things...

1 Timothy 6:17 

.... God giveth us all things to richly enjoy... It's a matter of priorities, and perspectives 

Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." Because the More Abundant Life in God's kingdom is this

Romans 14:17 " For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost."

In our study, we are going back and looking at the nation Israel to teach us how we can have the more abundant life, because we have 2 witnesses in the Word of God Any time there is a Biblical truth or principle to be established; Moses told us in his writings, Jesus told us in His teachings , and the Apostle Paul told us in his writings...

Matthew 18:16  Jesus the master teachers words...

"But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." Romans 15:4 "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." 1 Corinthians 10:11 "Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition (calling attention to warn or rebuke) upon whom the ends of the world are come." 

Genesis 12 1920BC God promised Abraham He would make of him a great nation and give him and his descendants a land

Exodus 12  1491BC, app 529 years later, God lead that nation out of Egyptian bondage and set them on a journey to that land of promise, a land flowing with milk and honey
