Retreat in the Lord
This World is Rough, Christ is Tougher.
I want to be honest, that there have been days where the world has really hit me.
The injustice in the world, from wars over seas, to abuse cases that are played on our social media to even events that rock and shock this community.
This world is rough.
When I open up my news app I find myself quickly closing it becuase it is almost too much to bear.
It’s weight is heavy, especially being called to be the “Salt and Light” in the world, and to see justice.
It’s difficult when Injustice is sometime easier then justice, when mercy seems unfair in the day to day life, when walking humbly does not get you farther in life then the boastful one.
How do you live your faith in the world’s culture.
I ask this constantly, “How do you build the Kingdom of God here on earth when it is too counter cultural”
We have alot of ground to cover.
