Memories

I. We need to treasure memories (Deut. 16)

II. We need to pass on memories .

• A. They help provide perspective .
• B. They help us know our family heritage better.
• C. They help us know God better. (Ps. 78:1-8; Josh 4:1-7; Ex. 12:14; Lk 22:19)

III. We need to build memories .

• A. It takes effort .
• B. It makes lasting impressions.

IV. We need to respond To memories .

• A. Some to learn from. (I Cor. 10:5-11)
• B. Some to release . (Phil. 3:13-14)
• C. Some to overcome . (Ezek. 18)
• D. some to build on. (I Cor. 3:9ff)
• What we remember helps shape what we become.
