The Best Christmas Gift

Luke 2:11

INTRODUCTION: Christ Himself is the best Christmas gift a person could receive.  Do you know Him?

I.          Unto You...  A Personal Gift

A.        Everyone wants gifts that are specially suited to just them 

B.        That is one thing that makes Christmas shopping so difficult.

II.       Is Born...  A Precious Gift

A.        What could be more precious than a baby? 

B.        God did not send His Son in power and great glory. 

C.        He sent Him wrapped in humanity!  

III.    This Day...  A Purposeful Gift

A.        Christ is the most useful gift one could have. 

B.        He is always needed and always available.

IV.    In the City of David... A Prophetic Gift

A.        The perfect gift is hard to find. 

B.        This one was prophesied hundreds of years before He came!

V.       A Savior....  A Practical Gift

A.        He is the gift that EVERYONE needs! 

B.        All have sinned and come short of the glory of God...

VI.    Christ the Lord…  A Powerful Gift

A.        He is the gift to end all gifts! 

B.        There is no other Christmas gift guaranteed to change a life! 

C.        The Father has already offered this gift.
