1 Corinthians 10:11 KJV 1900
11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
The Grace New Testament Commentary says this about 1 Cor. 10:11, “The word admonition (noutheisan) can mean warning. Paul wants to put some sense into the believers upon whom the end of the ages have come. The same God who disciplined Israel would bring the same type of judgment for the Corinthians (cf. 1 Cor 11:30).”
Dwight L. Hunt, “The First Epistle of Paul the Apostle to the Corinthians,” in The Grace New Testament Commentary, ed. Robert N. Wilkin (Denton, TX: Grace Evangelical Society, 2010), 743.

Paul tells us what the Bible is and what is its purpose.

2 Timothy 3:16 KJV 1900
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The Bible is Valuable and beneficial for learning, to get one right when wrong, and teaching of how to live a righteous life.

The Bible is more then a how to book, it is life giving power.

Isaiah 55:10–11 KJV 1900
10 For as the rain cometh down, And the snow from heaven, And returneth not thither, But watereth the earth, And maketh it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: It shall not return unto me void, But it shall accomplish that which I please, And it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

The Bible knows all about Us.

Hebrews 4:12–13 KJV 1900
12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

God wants to Instruct Us in the ways of righteousness through the Bible.

Romans 15:4 KJV 1900
4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

It is the Christian’s duty to study, meditate, and apply the Bible to his everyday life.

2 Timothy 2:15–17 KJV 1900
15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. 17 And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

God’s Warnings Come From His Word And We Must Be Instructed And Learn From It.
