Greater love hath.
No man than this in a man.
Lay down his life for his friends, aren't you thankful for that today?
That God loved us.
He sent his son to die on the cross for you.
And for me this morning, if you have your Bibles, go with me, if you will do Romans chapter 14, we're going to pick up where we left off.
We weren't here last week.
Those of you who were here, knew those who weren't here.
You didn't know that, but we were awake camping for the weekend.
So.
Wonderful time of camping and good time to just get out and Ponder God's nature and in life.
The song We sang, first this morning, now is the time to worship.
Really is an important song to think about as we get into the word of God today.
Come as you are to worship.
God wants us to come as we are.
He does not want us to leave.
Unless we're better than what we are.
When we leave out of this place, right?
How often do we come to church just to get through it?
Just to get, this is our Traditions.
What we do on a Sunday, this get done with this so we can get on with our life.
And I've heard Christian say that.
Maybe not in those exact words.
But what life would we really have apart from Jesus Christ?
What life would we have?
If Jesus is not really a part of our everyday life and he ought to be it's not Sunday morning thing of worshiping God.
It's an everyday thing.
You wake up every morning.
You see the sun shining?
Or even if it's not shining, you still worship God.
This is the day, the Lord has made.
We will rejoice and be glad in it.
We looked at the first few chapters chapter 12. Chapter 13, but these four verses and four chapters here chapter 12 through chapter 16.
Tell us about God's righteousness.
Today.
We're going to deal with God's righteousness and practical Christianity.
We sort of lose that practical Christianity, when we began to include the ways of the world.
What's going on the 21st?
Century, what's happening today and our societies around us.
We try to include that into our life.
We try to have one foot in the things of God, and one foot in the things of the world and scripture tells us.
That's Shaky Ground.
You cannot serve God and Mammon meaning, you cannot serve God and the things of the world.
We have to make a choice of what's important to us.
Sadly, too many times.
We make that choice and it's not always The Godly choice that we make it sometimes.
The whirly choice, that comes our way and it seems as if many times were okay with that.
Romans chapter 14, as we get into our word today.
We need to understand that God wants us to serve him.
With all of our heart, all of our soul, all of our being everything.
We have holding back.
Nothing.
Keep your fingers.
Romans 14, because we're going to jump back to Romans chapter 1.
We're going to look at verses 16 and 17 as we begin this morning.
Paul says in Romans 1:16, for I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for it is the power of God unto salvation for everyone, who believes for the Jew first.
And also, for the Greek, for in at the righteousness of God is revealed from Faith to Faith.
As it is written, the just shall live.
By faith.
How are you living today?
What is your life all about?
What is important to you?
And how you live your life.
How are you perceived by those in the world?
Do we strive to just be a little bit ahead of them?
Are do we strive to be what God wants us to be? Scripture says, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
I can be anything.
I want to be through Christ.
I can do what I want to do it through Christ.
I just had to make sure it's through him.
Not of my own want smaller, Moen worship Lord.
What would you have me to do?
That was Paul's question on that Damascus Road Lord, what would you have me to do?
And God answered it, maybe.
And not the way he was expecting.
But in the way that God desired it to be, as we get into the word, this morning, Father open our hearts and our minds help us to put aside the business of our days of business of Our Lives where she happy with everything we have, as we come in here today to worship.
When we walk out of here today.
May we be changed for the better leaving behind the things that are keeping us from serving.
You leave me behind the things that or are not helping us to in and build up the body of Christ, but father help us to reach out.
As you would have us do with your power with your spirit to those around us.
In Jesus name, we pray.
Hey, man, we're looking for is Wands.
Reversed nine hear Romans chapter 14 as we began.
But what he shares with us in this passage.
Is this thought your love may be tested by Christians.
Who disagree with you more than unbelievers who persecute you think about that for a second?
Your love.
Maybe you disagree with you more than by unbelievers who persecute you?
Do you love those around you? Do you love the Lord?
First and foremost?
Our love for the Lord.
Then we follows up with the love for those around us.
Our love for those around us ought to be.
A pattern of our love for the Lord.
Somebody said it takes a diamond to cut a diamond.
Right.
Takes a diamond to cut a diamond, scripture, says our iron sharpens iron.
So a man's strengthens, a countenance of his friends.
So what then should we do?
When a brother or sister in the Lord disagrees with you on?
