Some say we are living in uncertain times. While we surely don’t know what may happen from minute to minute in all the areas of life that grab our attention, there are some certainalities (yes, I made that word up) we have when we fully trust God and take Him at His Word. In history, and even in the Bible, we can find parallels to today’s health, political, relational, and spiritual concerns. In that you can see their start, progression, and end. We can be certain that the theme of those times will be repeated today, though the methods they are carried out may not match perfectly. What will match perfectly is God’s presence in those situations. His promised return on your investment of obedience AND disobedience never change as God never changes. You can find some peace with what you know to be certain there.
