God’s Word Is Always True
Fret Means: To consume, to eat, to be angry, to provoke self to wrath - Fretting Means: Eating away - Fret Inward Means: to dig, to hollow out, a depression, a sunken state!
The greatest threat to the our purpose is inconsistency - I am not speaking of the physical work we do, but I am talking to our thinking!
John 15:16 “16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.”
One of the most difficult aspects of walking in The Way, is remaining established consistently, even when the appearance of things, does not seem favorable, you must still remain established on the True Word of God -
Matthew 14:30 “30 But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!””
The distractions of life will cause your vision - outlook - to become so skewed, you forget The True Word Of God!
Most of the time, you may not want to admit it, but majority of our inconsistency comes from our own minds allowing that thought to rise above the knowledge of God! Fretting. . .
The natural can become so convincing that you will begin to sink - but you know where your help remains because Who do you call on?
We look at this text in Psalm 37 and just think that it refers only to evil doers - when in essence, we ought to know that God will reward everyone according to their “Works!”
- We remain consistent because we know “God’s Got It!”
Remember The Word of God is true - “Do not be wise in your own opinion . . .
Proverbs 3:7 (NKJV) 7  Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
So many us fret because it does not align with our presupposed position on how we think it should be!
Whenever a disruption occurs, or we get the news that may seem insurmountable, we return to that thinking of “how are we going to make it. .
.”
Isaiah 33:17 “17 Your eyes will see the King in His beauty; They will see the land that is very far off.”
Genesis 28:15 “15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”
Consistency matters because we will experience these times we may want to fret inwardly, and sink - but when you remain on His Word, you have an assurance to always prosper!
Psalm 1:1-4 “The Way of the Righteous and the End of the Ungodly Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night.
He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
The ungodly are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind drives away.”
Any time we experience an “Ad-Verse” circumstance, it seems as if we become unbalance, even though The Word of Truth has instructed us to come forward, and has given us surety.
Even though we know what God has spoken to us!
We want to bow out because it does not seem as if we are going to make it - nor can we see how we will be able to continue on!

Verse = Rhythm, plowing or turning from one line to another

Scripture tells us to be angry, but sin not. . .
In other words, remain consistent in your thinking and you will be able to withstand the wiles of evil!

Not even your wildest imagination. . .

Regardless of how you began, what you have done or been thru, God’s Word is True:

Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.”
When you obey The Word of Truth - There is nothing that can hold back The Goodness of The Lord for He is obligated to manifest His True Word into your natural world!
This is why we must remain consistent in His Word, less we will become weary in doing Good!
Psalm 37:3-9 “3 Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.

24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For the Lord upholds him with His hand.
25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread.
26 He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed.”
I know too much about Him - To doubt Him - For His Goodness is in all of the land - His Goodness has caused us to be established, even in a season such as this!
God told me to tell you today - Let His Word speak prophetically - When you think that you can, God says Yes You Can, and when you think how God says: 1 John 2:20-21 “20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.”
There is rest when you are patiently hoping in God - Because you are so hewed up in His Word You have peace that gives you confidence in knowing that Greater Is On The Way - Psalm 62:5 “5 My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him.”
This Hope that I have is in Jesus The Christ - Whom came down through forty and two generations - He Agreed to be me on The Cross - So I would not have to endure the shame, nor the pain!
