Clothe yourselves with - we need to put it on.

Colossians 3:12-14 “Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Tender hearted mercy - not giving what a person deserves.

blessed are the merciful they shall receive mercy

But for the grace of God there go I.

Kindness - always be kind

It is not mercy to allow someone to get away with hurtful acts that lock her into behavior that destroys others and rewards her transgression.

Humility - see greatness in others (deals with applause and criticism); remember how hard it is for you to change, Proverbs 12:16

Helping people to hear when spoken to gently.

You can't expect everyone to operate in your gifting.

if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid

Forgiving one another as the Lord forgave you.
