Today the title for my devotion is “Jesus’ Virtue – Not like any others”
Scripture text is taken from the Gospel of Mark,
Lets read the text, I will read.

Introduction

Going back to the text.
Immediately after He felt the virtue had gone out of Him, He turned around, which is to say that someone touched Him from behind, and exclaimed “who touched my clothes?”. This is very key to understanding Jesus’ Virtue.
Now, the word “virtue” has many meanings, some versions translate it as “power” because this same word is used in English for “dynamite”.
And this same word also has the meaning of power, might, strength, force, capability. Also, this “virtue” is also sometimes translated as “miracle”. In Acts 19:11, it is mentioned as “God wrought special miracles (virtues) by the hand of Paul”.
But this word being associated with Christ, from God, it is the power that works wonder.
And this same word “virtue”, is something that we utter on most Sunday worship, when the chairman asked us to recite the prayer that the Lord taught His disciple, “for thine is the kingdom, and the power”, or His Virtue, and basically the understanding is that, everything will work and come to fruition according to His Will both on earth as well as in heaven
Therefore, in this devotion, I would like to share 3 points about this remarkable virtue which this woman felt that day.

3 points related to His Virtue are

Jesus’ Holiness – Not defiled by sins
Jesus’ Knowledge – Not harried for one
Jesus’ Compassion – Not physically also totally
In order for us to understand this part of scripture better, we need to go to the text, and also to look into the background regarding the circumstances of this woman, as well as the situations that were happening, focusing on Jesus, that woman, His disciples and the multitude.
First, we look into the background.
