In this life that we live we have many times where we receive promises. With receiving a promise we hold on to that word. Especially within our culture when someone promise they are going to do something we wait in expectation to see if they are going to fulfill the promise that they said they will do. Especially if someone puts a date on it or a time we be looking because they promised you that it will be done. Just like when you were kids and your parents promised you mcdonalds and now they try to find a way of not getting you your mcdonalds and you would say, Mom or dad you promised you promised. I know i’m not the only who has been there before, and we learned at an early age that when someone makes a promise we should learn to hold them to it.
We also found out at an early age that promises can be broken. With promises being broken it hurts us and it can cause arguements, and it can cause hostility. I say this because when you break a promise it can lead to major arguements we see it all the time. Let your girlfriend or boyfriend break a promise all hell will break loose. Arguments happen most of the time after someone breaks their promise.
