Be Confident in the Lord’s Arrival
Reflection: Why does the Psalmist encourage Hope? What kind of hope?
Crisis: The Psalmist knows what it’s like to desperately need GOD - A deep hole of sin guilt (v. 1-3)
The Psalmist acknowledges God’s forgiving nature - Generating reverence (v. 4)
The Psalmist is confident GOD will respond to him (intensely) - As sure as day comes after night (v. 5-6)
He knows he’s not the only one!!!
GOD Love’s Us Loyally!!
GOD has your ransom
No matter the amount
No matter the currency
Conclusion: We would not be where we are without God’s forgiveness, love, and redemption. We will not be able to continue without them either. Whatever your sin struggle is or has been, realize that you’re not alone, and none of us could stand if GOD kept our record. Who shall save us from these bodies of sin? Thanks be to GOD for Jesus Christ!! Therefore, as we continue our journey, acknowledge any and every guilt, cry to the Lord for help, and be confident GOD still loves you and will forgive you.
