Pentecost

Acts 4:31 “And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God with boldness.”
Acts 2:33 “Therefore, having been exalted to the right hand of God and having received the promise of the Holy Spirit from the Father, he has poured out this that you see and hear.”
I Kings 19:11 “He said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before Yahweh.” Suddenly Yahweh was passing by, with a great and strong wind ripping the mountains and crushing rocks before Yahweh; but Yahweh was not in the wind. After the wind, there was an earthquake; but Yahweh was not in the earthquake.”
Luke 3:16 “John answered them all, saying, “I baptize you with water, but the one who is more powerful than I am is coming, of whom I am not worthy to untie the strap of his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”
I want to be filled with the Holy Spirit. I feel I haven’t been filled with the Holy Spirit since I accepted Jesus Christ at the age of 14 and that was 33 years ago but that is a significant years because that’s how old Jesus was when he finished his ministry. I know I am not finished with my ministry but the Holy Spirit came after His resurrection so I am asking to be filled with the Spirit at the time the Heavens are opening.
The word Fill in the verb tense means become an overwhelming presence in;
filling leads to renewal, obedience, boldness, and an arresting quality in believers’ lives. I want to be led by the Holy Spirit. God is always speaking but we are not always listening. I want to hear when He speaks to me.
Jesus Christ was filled with the Holy Spirit. Luke 4:1 “And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness”
Father I declare Romans 15:18 “For I will not dare to speak about anything except that which Christ has accomplished through me, resulting in the obedience of the Gentiles by word and deed,”
