of Marriage
Mark 10:1-12
Main Idea: God’s design for marriage is the union of one man and one woman for
a lifetime.
James Edwards writes, “As Jesus nears Jerusalem, his teaching about his mission and
claims of discipleship become increasingly specific. Chapter 10 begins with the call to
discipleship in the most fundamental aspects of life - marriage (1-12), children
(13-16), and possessions (17-31) [Edwards, The Gospel According to Mark].”
