Here’s what God showed me

Level 1 - I will not make any sacrifices, totally self serving

deadbeat parent - won’t spend money on the child, won’t spend time with the child (I gotta look good, I have to live my life)

Level 2 - I will make sacrifices, but not myself (where this church is, most churches are)

Parent whose will buy their kids anything (latest fashion, newest cell phone, will show up at birthday party), but that’s mainly it

won’t spend time with them: never at the game, never helping with homework, never taking them to the park,

they will make sacrifices, but not the main sacrifice - self sacrifice

because I still want to do my own thing

and the bible teaches that to obey is better than sacrifice

because obedience is self sacrifice

that’s why the church member will

sing in the choir, but sleep with the married man

give money, but won’t serve

Level 3 - will sacrifice anything, including themselves

Husband who will buy the wife whatever she wants (home, car, clothes, jewelry), but he’s gonna cheat

will not sacrifice his attractions to other women

The teenager who will do up Mother’s day, but will not obey

card, dinner, social media post, hugs, kisses, poem, but I refuse to come home when you tell me to

the worker who will bring in the donuts, but won’t do their work

giving a woman shopping money is sacrifice, listening to her talk about here shopping trip is self sacrifice
