For our commonwealth exists in heaven, from which also we eagerly await a savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our humble body to be conformed to his glorious body, in accordance with the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.

In many ways this is the same concept of how we obtain citizenship in heaven.
First we believe
Then we confess our beliefs and take an oath
We live by the rules of the country and full-fill the duties of the country
If war comes, we defend our country

Some countries allow dual citizenship and some do not allow it.
Gods country does not allow multiple citizenships. We can only be loyal to one.
Satans country allows multiple citizenships. Everyone is allowed and they have to pleasure of living how they want to.

In our world it took me 26 years to become a citizen of the country i live and i could have lived as a permenent resident for longer if i wanted.
In Gods country, this would be considered a luke warm christian. Someone that calls themself a christian but does things that are not base on the christian belief. Neither for one country or the other.

What country are we living for? Are we truly living our lives as if we are citizens of heaven? Do we follow the laws of our country and fulfill the duties of our country?
