Know his voice

The Difference

There is only One God, one God that is as we define him in trinitarian language the 3 in one, but ultimently we know that God. As we have a God who is not absent, our God is present in creation, our god is present in our lifes, our God wants to have relationship with us. That really shows God’s love compare to others religions that state that their God does not play a role in their daily lives.

God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Sent Holy Spirit all are revaling themselves to us daily in ways that we may or may not be listening or looking for.

John 10:1–3 NIV

“Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.

Christ gives this parable to affirm the audience that the one who comes will be known by them. They will know

But like Simon says we know to respond to the voice of the Lord.

John 10 talks about this very thing, that we know the voice of Jesus becuase we are his followers.
