I. God’s will isn’t always what you want

Nineveh, is not where Jonah wanted to go.

II. Theres always a ship going in the opposite direction

Disobedience will always cost you something

a. Disobedience takes more work than just obeying

III. God chases after us

Discipline us

A. Sometimes we’re sleeping through the very storm God sent to discipline us.

Disciple us

A. At times we can be so far off that even sinners know better

IV. Watch who you let on your boat

1. You may be going through a storm that isn’t even meant for you

V. Sometimes the storm you’re going through is your fault

Not the Devil’s fault

Not someone else’s fault

VII. God can still make something out of your disobedience

Even in your disobedience, some can still be saved

VIII. Don’t mistake God’s provision for punishment
