Psalm 8 / Romans 5:1-5

Eternal Trinity

Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

Genesis 1:26 “Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.

And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.””

John 8:56-58 “Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day.

He saw it and was glad.”

57 So the Jews said to him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.””

Redemptive Trinity

Romans 5:1 “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Peace with God / Restored since Genesis 3.

Romans 5:5 “and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

Through the Holy Spirit

Romans 5:2-3 “Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,”

By faith we gain access

Romans 5:3-4 “Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,”

We rejoice, endure, and are sanctified

In fellowship with the Local Church

Community (especially in the local church) then is worship, obedience, and the natural outflowing of the doctrine of Trinity

Intentionally establish & maintain gospel community

Christian Identity

organically evangelistic

Grow in maturity

Grow in numbers

Church Family, We believe in God.

We believe in Trinity.

We are meant to live in community in the local church.

May God help us to be and build this family of families to the glory of God, and the blessing of our homes.
