Sometimes, God uses challenges, difficulties, adversaries, and hardships to move us in the direction we need to go. Perhaps, more often than not, these He use because of us not listening to His kind gentle blessings of encouragement that He has offered. But there are times we are allowed to go through challenges, simply because He can trust us with them that we may be an inspiration to others. Churches are not immune to these conditions either…

  • Recognize
    • Your adversary only exists with God’s permission
    • Your adversary is limited to God’s will
  • Realize
    • If you are standing for God, your adversary is standing against God.
    • Your adversary uses intimidation and focuses on your fears.
  • Resist
    • Resist dependence upon logical or humanistic reasoning
    • Resist self-reliance
  • Rely
    • Rely on the God you are standing for.
    • Be certain your agenda is His and not yours
    • Rely on His Holy Word
    • Rely on the God that has answered your prayers
